August 8, 200520 yr something just doesn't seem right... now i know, this place flips out when someone has a bad outing and then everyone just jumps down the crazy train but...it seemed like from when he first started pitching, i just got this feeling like something was really messed up. maybe tommy said it, you just have to get used tot he altitude, but he doesn't look like josh beckett... does anyone else have that weird feeling?
August 8, 200520 yr He seemed fine most of the game, but his wildness last inning made me wonder if he was alright. We'll see how he bounces back this inning.
August 8, 200520 yr Maybe he just didn't prepare enough for this game because he figured he'd being facing the Rockies minor league line-up. Obviously, that was a mistake. But he's been lucky to be in there with only 2 runs given up so far, and should definately take something from this outing.

August 8, 200520 yr Author here we go again. do these posts need to happen every single game? he had a bad outing today. he lacks true consistency from start to start. our marlins are not going to play perfect every game. its just not feasable. 894095[/snapback] don't hand me that here we go again. i didn't start this topic to start another one of those, omg he gave up 2 runs and only pitched 6 innings we're screwed. i was saying i just got a feeling that something wasn't right...and i got that feeling like in the second inning, he just seemed out of whack with that being said, he did give us 6 innings and he battled like tommy said. he didn't have his best stuff, but sometimes good pitchers get the job done without having their best stuff. so if thats it, then fine, i salute josh. i just got the feeling that at a moments time a trianer coulda gone out there and he coulda gotten yanked for yet another problem. maybe its just bad flashbacks
August 8, 200520 yr Beckett is still not an All Star or Cy pitcher. He has potential, which means he displays that talent from time to time but not on a consistant basis.
