Josh has always scram into his glove especially when he was in his first year. He calmed down a whole lot and today is when i really see his emotions really firing up again. Nice to see that! He's just plain nasty, a question for you guys, Beckett has been throwing 93-94 consistantly and last year he threw 95-99 mph. Is he saving it for the later innings?

I can't really say for previous games but I know tonight he was mainly trying to be effective and efficient early so he can rear back and go after batter in the later innings. Hope he continues doing this.

Marlins announcers were talking about something about Josh was going to appologize to Randy Winn...does Josh think he went overboard w/ the emotion? Just wondering if anyone knew more to the story...

Hope he keeps it up...the rest of the team could feed off him and get themselves looking like a real playoff team and put themselves on top before all is said and done.

I heard somewhere he was going to apologize to him, cause he thought he might've been a little disrespectful. And he respects Randy professionally. I think I heard it on sportscenter, I might be wrong though.

I was watching FSN Bay Area and the PBP guy and Steve Lyons were chewing Beckett out for an inning in a half.

PBP after K: Beckett being a jerk. Inning over.

They called him bush, jerk, a kid, disrespectful and bunch of over crap. Beckett really got to them.

It was hilarious. In the 9th they made it seem like it was in the Giants destiny to tie the game for what he did.

It's Krukow and Kuiper. But it was great seeing them pissed.

Whoever those 2 that were announcing the game on MLB.TV, they sounded like the biggest cry babies.

If someone from the Giants would have been pumped like that, they would have been praising him.

I just laugh when I see announcers from sorry teams have to make the team they cover seem like theyre actually going to do something.

I really like the Marlins announcers. I dont think they over react to anything the Marlins players do, but they do give em' credit without making it seem like every play they make should be an ESPN highlight.

Beckett was hitting 98 on the stadium scoreboard in both the 8th and 9th. They were the only innings he threw that hard.

Good.

I loved every minute of it.

But, good.

"Randy Winn is not the guy to take that out on," said Beckett, who struck out seven. "He's a professional. After I did it, I was kind of fired up about the situation. It was kind of escalated because I heard they were stealing pitches. That's my fault. That's not their fault. That's not cheating. That's me not being smart. I totally plan on apologizing to Randy Winn because he's a professional and he doesn't deserve that."
