August 20, 200520 yr Lets put this in perspective. just over a week ago, things were looking very meek. the marlins had dropped to 4 1/2 games out of the wild card leading astros, and 7 1/2 out of the division leading braves. now, in just one weeks time, we've seen the marlins gain 4 games on the wildcard and 3 on the braves, and now rest just 4 1/2 out of the division lead. last night peter gammons said the marlins have the second best team in the national league, second to the red birds. i think taking home the division title is well within reach, and its time to dethrone the braves. go marlins.
August 20, 200520 yr I have kept saying that we cant give up on the division just yet, usually the Braves have a veteran team that chokes come October but I am thinking that this rookie filled team will take there nosedive in September.

In spite of their regrouped and restrengthened starting rotation, the weakness of Atlanta lies in their young bats.
