August 25, 200520 yr I searched my entire Tivo guide and the game today at 2pm is no where to be found, on the official Marlins site there are no TV listings, only radio. Is today's game NOT on TV again? This is absurd, two games in a row during the middle of a brutal wild card race and the games aren't even on TV. It's so ridiculous, if there is a need for no-TV games, then have them early in the season because this is just stupid.
August 25, 200520 yr It'll be on MLB.tv, for those who have it. The Brewers announcers are absolutely terrible though. You're almost better off listening to Roxy and DVH on the radio.

August 25, 200520 yr Im pretty sure I heard the brewers announcers yesterday, say that there would be no TV today. :thumbdown
August 25, 200520 yr MLB.com says they will be broadcasting it with announcers from mlb.com... Not sure if there are blackout restrictions though.

Vinny Micucci and Brian McRae will have the call... and I'm glad I'm not the only one that dislikes the brewers tv guys...watching yesterday I wanted to punch them out!!!! :mad lol They were saying how great they were against Beckett... :plain How about, how Beckett sucked? and not how good they were :mischief2 I LOVED it when CDel crushed that 3run HR last night! :thumbup :cool

August 25, 200520 yr Is the game on MLB TV or not? 914781 I think it is but if you live in Marlins Country it will probably be blacked out
August 25, 200520 yr Is the game on MLB TV or not? 914781 "We're sorry! Your data indicate that you are prevented from watching this game LIVE due to the flo local or national live broadcast restrictions. Please try an MLB.TV game that doesn't include this team."
August 25, 200520 yr if you're in the blackout zone and have a Proxy Server (no clue what it is, or how it works). You'll still be able to watch it on mlb.TV there are ways to circumvent the blackout rule :mischief

August 25, 200520 yr my idea didn't work. I guess they are looking at the address info on your credit card
August 25, 200520 yr my idea didn't work. I guess they are looking at the address info on your credit card 914790 I called once to MLB Advanced Media...when the Marlins were playing the Giants...cause I couldn't get it on TV - I was blacked out... and it's actually not your address info...I believe they know WHERE you are where you got on...I tried to lie and tell them I was in Nevada :mischief but it didnt work lmfao!! :shifty The guy goes, "Well according to where you're calling from it says you're in zip code _____, and not in nevada" lol...I felt like an ass :whistle and he said that for MLB.tv it only matters where you're logging in from to determine if you'd be blacked out
August 25, 200520 yr MLB.tv for me too. As bad as the Brewers announcers were, they arent as bad as San Fran's cast. :mad I wanted to yack listening to them.
August 25, 200520 yr :thumbup MLB.tv for me too. As bad as the Brewers announcers were, they arent as bad as San Fran's cast. :mad I wanted to yack listening to them. 914797 lol...yea I hate when MLB.tv's feed isn't the Marlins feed :plain lmao! but I have to say...there were two teams that had outstanding broadcasters IMO...the D-Backs were one...but I can't remember the other! They were very fair, and knew a LOT of what they were talking about!! lmfao *something I just remembered* The Dodgers announcers (not Scully) sucked!! lol...a couple of times they called Miggy "Orlando Cabrera" and they were speaking of Vargas they said "Valdez" lmao, I was laughing so damn much! but anyway...back to those Giants broadcasters...they're not that bad I guess... What was my revenge on the damn Giants was when I went to a game out here in SF...my girlfriend and I were on the Club Level (LOL) and people were looking at us, and talking crap a little at the begining (this was the game on July 23 when the Marlins won 16-4)...and what was the sweetest part was Delgado's HR into the Bay!!!! :notworthy :notworthy :notworthy :notworthy That's just one of those "what now biatch?!" moments!!! :thumbup :cool

Two weeks ago they were saying that the Twins were dead and buried....now they're complaining that the game isn't on. A lot of backtracking and denying what was previously said.....
August 25, 200520 yr Author if you're in the blackout zone and have a Proxy Server (no clue what it is, or how it works). You'll still be able to watch it on mlb.TV there are ways to circumvent the blackout rule :mischief 914787 I've tried that, but most proxies are too slow to connect to MLB.TV .
August 25, 200520 yr This would have been a good one to watch as they went into extras in a 1-1 ballgame. Nice to know that the Marlins won though :thumbup
