September 11, 200520 yr Good I hope his knee explodes as takes his first swing. Watching him break Hank Aaron's record will make me puke all over myself.
September 11, 200520 yr I'm no Bonds fan but I can't wait to see him play. I may not like the man but I didn't like Tyson either. Their still entertaining to watch and I can't wait to see Bonds.
September 11, 200520 yr Author As long as he doesn't pass Hank Aaron, I don't really care what Barroid does.
September 11, 200520 yr Nice timing, not starting him on the road. I hope he gets booed to a degree that no one in their lives has ever seen when he hits an enemy stadium.

I hope he gets booed to a degree that no one in their lives has ever seen when he hits an enemy stadium. 939934 The thing is, he probably revels in it, so what does it matter? He'll probably hit 800 HRs then call it a career simply because it'll be so far out of reach.
September 11, 200520 yr Last week I bought additional tix to the Nats - Giants series. I can't wait. 939813 The drive to break Aaron's record is on! Go Bonds...........
September 11, 200520 yr Go Bonds........... Preferably someplace far, far away, so we don't have to hear from Steroid Boy again...
September 11, 200520 yr i dont think he will be that great when he comes back ur gonna c all his rust! lol
September 11, 200520 yr As it stands now I think Bonds is worthy of MVP. I'm surprised he wasn't mentioned in the NL MVP poll. I mean he hasn't made an out all season, so isn't that enough?. :plain 940007 His team is also 4.6% better when he's on the roster
September 13, 200520 yr that would have been unbelievable if it was a HR... richocheted off fan's glove into stands
September 13, 200520 yr That was an amazing way to return. If the Giants win this game, they'd ony be 6 out of the west with 6 to play against the Pads. And then for good measure, the Dodgers, Nationals, Rockies and D'Backs. If they win the west, he's the MVP.
September 13, 200520 yr He finished 1 for 4 with that double, a pop out to right, a fly out to DEEP center, and a strike out... Overall, a good return... I must say I was ecstatic to see him out there again... I don't have much hope that the Giants will win the division. They need to sweep the rest of the season series vs the Pads... It COULD happen, but will it?? I sure hope so, I'm just not holding my breath.. What really sucks now is that Moises Alou is out with a strained groin. I was really looking forward to seeing a lineup featuring Bonds and Alou back to back... I just read he may be done for the year... As long as Ray Durham and Randy Winn keep hitting the way they are, they have a chance to win ballgames... WELCOME BACK, BARRY !!!
September 13, 200520 yr BBTN - Barry Bonds To Night I just about hurled during that.. Didnt even mention the Cards continue to win or anything (Just showed Taguchi as Web Gem No. 4.. Whoopie!).. Oh well.. Kinda figured it would be like that with his return and stuff.
September 13, 200520 yr I have never liked Barry Bonds the person but i love the player....Glad to see him back and he looks like he hasn't lost a beat.....He could have easily had a 3 HR night cause those balls he hit to the outfield would have been gone if he was in baseball shape......Glad to see ya back and continue your journey to pass Aaron.....

September 14, 200520 yr Bonds has been back for two games, and there are already two games the Giants wouldn't have won without him...if he was here the whole season, the giants woulld've clinched a while ago
September 14, 200520 yr The cheater is just back to pad his HR stats. He could care less about a below average team and the very slim chance at the playoffs.
September 14, 200520 yr i cant believe people are actually thinking the giants have a chance right now??? theres only what 17 games left and theyre like 6 games out?
September 14, 200520 yr The cheater is just back to pad his HR stats. He could care less about a below average team and the very slim chance at the playoffs. 944794 if it was just to pad his HR stats, he'd be playing the entire year...he wouldn't take nearly a year off in one of the last few years of his career if all it was about was a home run record
September 14, 200520 yr i cant believe people are actually thinking the giants have a chance right now??? theres only what 17 games left and theyre like 6 games out? 944795 as it says above the club level in leftfield at SBC Park "Remember '51"...as long as the Giants are not mathematically eliminated, they still have a shot...slim, yes, but they still have a chance..with Barry, the Giants are much better than anyone else in the division....the difference he makes is astounding, and any game Ray Durham, Moises Alou, or whoever else bats in back of Barry plays the way Durham has the last two games, the Giants can't be beaten...not to mention that Barry is still in the beginning of Spring Training mode, which means he will get better as the season winds down means that the Giants will likely finish the season strong, but they still need help from the Padres, because if they don't struggle against the Nationals, Diamondbacks, Rockies, and Dodgers, then the Giants chances wil be gone...considering one team has a tendency to roll over against teams the Giants are in a pennant race with (Rockies), and the other one would probably bench their key players on the final weekend (assuming they're out) to keep the Giants out of the race, the Giants do have to win every remaining series and sweep at least one of the Padres series' to make the playoffs 5 games out with 18 games to go, 5 of which being against the Padres...unlikely, but possible...tommorrow is the key game: a win will put the Giants 4 back, with 17 games left, 4 of which against the Pads...a loss will put the Giants 6 back
