September 24, 200520 yr Bleh. Fine, one more. And they should put the next Bond in the movie with Pierce, and then kill off Pierce at the end, to usher in the new Bond.
September 24, 200520 yr Boo! Oh, well, I didn't see the last two he made, so screw him. I'm still happy watching Goldfinger, Dr. No, From Russia With Love and On Her Majesty's Secret Service. It's so funny that the makers of the Bond don't realize that these movies aren't action flicks, but really well written mysterys with some action sequences. Too many video game influences and not enough good writers out there, I suppose.
September 24, 200520 yr To me, Die Another Day was the best of the four Brosnan movies (Goldeneye being a close second). I'm glad that they'll bring him back for atleast one more :thumbup
September 24, 200520 yr And they should put the next Bond in the movie with Pierce, and then kill off Pierce at the end, to usher in the new Bond. Um.....there's only one James Bond. It isn't like a code name or something, it's an actual character.
September 24, 200520 yr James Bond WILL NEVER DIE. Goldeneye was the best Bond movie Brosnan made and IMO may be the best Bond movie ever. Tomorrow Never Dies was another excellent Bond movie that Brosnan made. The "World is Not Enough" and "Die Another Day" were horrible.
September 24, 200520 yr Goldeneye was the best Bond movie Brosnan made and IMO may be the best Bond movie ever. :plain
September 24, 200520 yr Author Goldeneye was the best Bond movie Brosnan made and IMO may be the best Bond movie ever. :plain It may not be the best, but it was damn good.
September 24, 200520 yr Goldeneye was the best Bond movie Brosnan made and IMO may be the best Bond movie ever. :plain It may not be the best, but it was damn good. Agreed.

It isn't like a code name or something, it's an actual character. Point taken. Just throwing out ideas, here. The Bond industry isn't exactly flourishing right now.
September 24, 200520 yr Goldeneye is one of my favorites. Definetly one of the best Bond movies made.
September 24, 200520 yr If the new Bond movies are lacking blame the filmmakers, not Brosnan. In my opinion he is almost in the same class as Connery or Moore. EXACTLY. The poor execution is the fault of the director and scriptwriter. At least in Connery's day Bond used to do actual spying and double-crossing, as opposed to walking into a building and killing 50 militants and then taking down their badass, slightly deformed 2nd in command and then beating the head villain in some awful run and chase shootout.
September 24, 200520 yr Hopefully the next movie isn't gawdawful like Die Another Day was. It's not Pierce that's the problem with the current state of James Bond...
September 24, 200520 yr The next Bond better be Ewan McGregor. He's probably the best out there. He showed he can kick a lot of ass in Star Wars. He has also shown he can be a ladies man in some movie I can't name.
September 25, 200520 yr Author Clive Owen The Bond franchise needs Clive, but Clive doesnt need the Bond franchise.
September 26, 200520 yr Colin Farrell :plain I'd never watch a Bond movie again. :plain "Colin Farrell. Colin Farrell! My wife thinks you are a bad actor, now, now why is that? Cause I think so too." :mischief
September 26, 200520 yr I like Pierce as Bond. I think he gives that aura of Bond, even if he is irish

I'm glad that they'll bring him back for atleast one more :thumbup I fell asleep watching Die Another Day. The only part I was interested in (and I was woken up to see it) was Madonna's scene.
