Ok , it is the offseason so lets play a little game. Who can remember the most obscure , unknown , Big league Marlin player during our short history ? I am going to get this started with ....

Monty Farris .. He was a very high first round draft pick by ...some team...and we picked him up late in the expansion draft. I had hopes for him because he was such a high draft pick , but I dont think he ever amounted to anything.

BTW - Who can remember actually watching the expansion draft with us and Colorado on ESPN ??? Good times ! Lord knows that I thought Nigel Wilson was for sure THEE next Willie Mays. :D

Carl Everett.

Our firs ever center fielder Scott Pose. well only for one game but still started the game ahead of Chuck Carr

Maybe not obscure, but what about Ed Vosberg?

I mean, I just remember Joe Angel always, without variation, referring to him as "the veteran" Ed Vosberg, which I found kind of annoying, entertaining and odd all at the same time.

Brian Edmondson.

One of my favorite Marlins ever.

The one, and only, Ricky Bones.

Yorkis Perez.

I agree, I've always told that to my friends. I always wondered what the hell was he doing on a major league baseball team?
