October 8, 200520 yr Rugby > Soccer On a more topic-like note, I've never really gotten into Spanish or Italian leagues but English Premier league is amazing.
October 8, 200520 yr I play rugby and rugby is great, but soccer>>rugby, always. That's my biased view because I grew up with soccer. If any of you watch the italian league keep an eye on Fiorentina (Next sunday at 9am they'll show Lazio-Fiorentina on FSC live, or re-run on Monday at 11pm), they play really well and score a lot. Lots of young players that you will definitely hear about in the future.

October 8, 200520 yr Who does everyone root for in the EPL and any of the other ones that they happen to watch? I don't really have a favorite, but I sort of follow Aston Villa since it's my uncle's team.
October 8, 200520 yr I've always semi-rooted for ManU because I would play as them in Fifa and the Ryan Giggs/Paul Scholes tandem was always a favorite of mine. Other than that, I just watch see the crowd reactions.

October 9, 200520 yr I don't know anything about soccer and the hundred different leagues and all that, but it's fun to watch. There is a Soccer channel on DirecTV in the 600's and they've always got matches on late at night and I always tune in to watch. Soccer is great, non-stop action with athletes that can do things with their feet that Allen Iverson couldn't even dream of doing with his hands.

I'm probably one of the fastest three people on the team before my knee decided to die. So yeah, probably done for quite a while. Though I still want to get drunk :whistle
