Right next to Sawgrass Mills.

When I was at the final exhibition game last Sunday, I saw a few people park over at the Mills and walk over to the arena, so there may be an idea.

just as i was deciding i wasnt going because of that crazy price.... :mischief2

To everybody going to their first game, you're really gonna enjoy it. It's a blast seeing a game in person.

Jmenjes is right. It's totally different when you see it live. You're gonna love it.

For those of you who got free tickets through this, how many of you are going to your first NHL game?

That would be me. Something I've always wanted to do, it's kind of sad I've never seen my second favorite sport in person but I've watched high school volleyball in person :confused

425 Row 1 wooooo

Even I, admittedly one of the most diehard hockey fans here on MB.com occasionally gets bored while watching hockey on TV sometimes, but it's easily the best sports to watch in person (this coming from someone who has been a season ticket holder of the Heat, Dolphins, Marlins, and Panthers). It's probably the worst sport to watch on TV, but the best to watch in person, you're gonna love it.

Cant thank you enough for this. I will definitely be there Saturday. I was just wondering if theres any advantage to the club level besides the food because I dont plan on eating there. Right now, the best options are 3rd row of the club level in the corner or 2nd row of the upper deck right at center ice, just wondering which you think is better.

And one more thing, is parking really $15? I thought it used to be 10, but the advanced parking on ticketmaster is 15.

If you don't want to pay for parking, you can just park in the parking lot of the Sawgrass Mall and walk across the street to the stadium, I actually prefer this because there's a lot less traffic when you're getting out and it's almost the same walking distance.

If you've never been to the club level, it's a good experience, but for purely watching the game i'd take the upperdeck row 2 seats at center ice over the club seats in the corner.

Second Panthers game. I went once and sat in the upper deck. It wasn't the greatest view, but this time I'm in the lower so I'm definatly looking forward to it. :thumbup

That's what I always do. :cool

Damn, I'm trying for some tix for tonight's game but I keep getting an internal system error on the Ticketmaster site!

From the Cityguide website:

Avoid the $15 parking fee. Instead of parking in the arena lot, park across the street for free at Sawgrass Mills (either the Target or Oasis lots) and walk over to the event. The Sawgrass Mills mall security rarely hassles the arena patrons that park across the street, and there are Sunrise Police Officers there to escort you across the Panther Parkway. Granted, you have to walk a short distance more than if you were to park in the lot, but it's not a long walk, and you will be saving the fifteen bucks.

It's quite idiotic to charge 15 bucks for parking when there is a mall with tens of thousands of parking spaces across the street.

Actually, the Sawgrass Mall is a great place to get something to eat and hang out for about an hour before going across the street to the game.

The offer for tonight is over since it's past 2PM, but you can still get free tickets to Saturday night vs. the Buffalo Sabres.

I got mine for Saturday -- Lower level, Sec. 119.

Total charge... $3.30 :hat

Thanks again, Mr. Accord. And, go Cats!

for those of you who have never been to a live game, it's incredible ... the speed of the game, line changes, formations and all the work and hitting off the puck (you know the stuff that never comes off on TV) is amazing

hockey is by far my favorite sport to watch live

much respect to accord for putting this offer out there and wise decision by all who snatched it up .... i would love for the 'yotes to do something like that (although they usually run some good promos and parking is always free)

I left after 2 periods because its a school night and I had to beat the rush, but it was awesome, much better than the last hockey game I went to. Definatly worth the $5. I still don't see how they think it's possible for people to pay so much to go to the games on a regular basis.

Oh yeah, Hockey fights are awesome. The refs don't even really try to break it up. There were two in the first 3 minutes. :thumbup

Going to the game on Saturday. My second ever. Don't know much about the game but what the hell, I need to take up a second sport.

Thanks Accord.

i love you accord. lol i brought my girlfriend, she wasn't gonna go cause she's weird like that (she's never been) and like i called her to tell her i was coming over and she said she wasn't going and her mom was like what was matt talking about and she told her about the game but said she wasn't going but then when i came oveR (we were gonna go out to eat) her mom was like what time does the game start? and she kinda got forced into going, our friends band played there i don't know if you guys heard them Breaking Tides but they really are awesome ya'll should check them out and now she loved the hockey game, i bought her a hoodie and a panther and she wants to go to every game now so i used ur little thing for saturday too, the only 2 they had together were in the upper deck but i got seperate orders of 1 ticket a piece and i scored center ice so i'm stoked. thanks again accord.

The stadium's location is perfect for someone like me who lives in west Broward. I just had to get on the Sawgrass and it's about 15 minutes to Oakland Park Blv. I got to walk around the Sawgrass Mall and it was just a short walk to the stadium from there.

We had a good time sitting up in the club level. It was my first time sitting up there and I was just amazed by what they had to offer in Stanley's. It was awesome. Oh, and Boog, the band is pretty awesome.

The game was a lot of fun. It would have been nice if our power play wasn't taking a sh*t on their lives, but other than that it was great. The pace is incredibly different from television.
