October 16, 200520 yr Yeah, DO NOT sell them to Steelers fans. I'm tired of their redneck fans in our stadium.

October 17, 200520 yr Only seattle is dumb enough to line up offsides multiple times in a row.... Only Oakland would get called for offsides multiple times even when they werent offsides.
October 17, 200520 yr According to Prisco on sportsline Griese may be done for the year "The word after the game was that he sprained the knee, but there's talk it's far more serious than that. Griese underwent MRI at a local hospital during the game, but the results were inconclusive. His status will be decided Monday, and the belief is the news won't be good for the Bucs, and he could be lost for the year." http://cbs.sportsline.com/nfl/story/8972937/2

What a dick statement. I don't get exuberant celebration of a player's injury. That kind of attitude sucks, in my opinion.

October 17, 200520 yr Author Anyone wanting an injury is a jerk, and its not suprising coming from a fan of a team who just lost. And I'll never really want Sims, he went to Texas, I f***ing loathe Texas. But if he plays well, then Ill be happy...I do think he is a better option then Griese overall though.

Hahaha no I see your point, of course you are going to root for Simms if he plays, but you don't want him over Griese.

You will understand this when you go to a college with a big rival that you will always play second fiddle too. I feel the same way for UNC.

Ugh, that's some seriously bad karma. I hope Griese is ok and ready to play next week.
October 17, 200520 yr I root for injuries sometimes, but not like that. I'll be happy when a player gets knocked out of the game (especially if its a key player), but I won't wish them to be out for the season, just as long as they can't be a factor in that one game. You want your defense to hit the opposing quarterback hard, as long as its not a cheap shot it's all part of the game. It's a rough game.

October 17, 200520 yr so yeah... more penalties, cant hit an open receiver downfield, no running game (well im giving the tampa d the credit) and we let Griese and Simms tear us up along with pittman. yeah that was pleasant. Yeah, but not totally unexpected. It's a transition year for them and though I expect them to win every game as a fan, the reality is that they aren't that good as a whole. That steelers game made me physically ill, I haven't seen a Steeler QB play that bad since "Slash" was behind center. I mean really, how can you fumble the ball away in OT like that :banghead
