There's casualties here in Pittsburgh for sure. 5mph winds with gusts to 7 with .25 inches of rain today. There hasn't been a disaster like this since the light rain of '27!

I survived Wilma, the 58 year old hooker I 'purchased' last night....

Just got the power back here on good ol' Miami Beach.

 

Went from about 6:30 AM to about 1:00 AM without it. All things considered, pretty lucky...

 

The power coming back set off quite a party. Everyone came out to their balcony and started whooping. It was pretty funny.

 

I wasn't able to sleep at all last night, and I was just about to go to sleep, but f*** it, time to watch some TV.

 

Power!

I just got power back at 8 30 am, I lost it yesterday at around 5 am. Thanks God nothing happened to my family. Good to hear you're all ok too.

I survived even though Who knows how long before Power is restored...not too much damage but from first person experience...Miami-Dade County is F&*KED UP!!!

No school for me Wednesday. 4 days and counting.....

i survived it but its not a pretty scene here in Coral Springs. been without power since the storm started. been stealing wifi around the town where i can find it. currently setup at my office in a boiler room style setup using wifi on a generator. this was bad and i feel for alot of people. my parents are a mess aswell as there house in Parkland. this is just horrible my prayers go out to everyone.

got power back a few hours ago.

 

tree fell right where my car would normally be parked at and the fence tipped over.

 

we cleaned that sh*t up real quick though over the last 2 days, well except for the tree on our driveway. oh and my grandpa dropped a branch from a palm tree on my head but its all good. man just told me "hold the latter and be careful" and then im yelling "oh f***!" a few seconds later.

perhaps we could all post some places so folks can get the necessary things? It might be helpful. These are a few I was told of around my work here.

just saw that on cbs 4 myself and they throw in the obligatory "could be sooner" line at the end.

No joke, this hurricane hit hard. From the damage it did on the beach (and only miami beach), it was just as bad as Andrew.
