Atleast the Falcons/Lions game is close...

Talk about a short leash for Harrington. One pick when Roy Williams falls down, a couple dropped passes and poor protection and he's outta there.

Why even have the Lions play on Thanksgiving anymore?

Yeah, let's just throw away tradition.

Yep, every Turkey Day since 1934.

They are 33-30 all time on Thanksgiving. But yeah, they haven't been great since the merger.

I meant their overall record coming into the game (for each season), but I was just joking around.

Yeah, I know man. The Lions are just another Arizona Cardinals, with the exception of at least making it to the playoffs more than once. And that was all because of #20.

The best thing about the Lions playing on Thanksgiving is getting to watch repetitive re-runs of old #20 highlights. Never gets old.

Meh, screw tradition. How about putting on a good game? Traditions suck when they ruin the viewers overall pleasure.

Gimme Pats/Indy or something like that.

It is the NFL. They only care about tradition in the form of throwback jerseys that make a huge profit.

That and tradition is a made up thing in the fans minds. Traditions are only cool when they're "popular" or mean something. Then when they don't other traditions seek their way in so it has meaning for the current person participating. Or the tradition just dies.

Detroit playing on Thanksgiving needs to die.
