December 1, 200520 yr Maybe I'm in the minority, but I never really liked this idea, and given the shape of our team, I like the idea even less now that it appears that S.T. is going to be an important gelling time for the team.
December 1, 200520 yr I wonder when tickets will go on sale in Orlando. It'll be fun to go up there to cheer for Miggy!
December 1, 200520 yr I won't be rooting for Cabrera. Communist countries have a tendency to use sports for propaganda purposes and make no mistake about it, Venezuela is going communist. I'm Cuban-American but I'll be rooting for our American players and also for the Dominican guys.
December 1, 200520 yr Venezuela is not going communist. It's just very far to the left right now. Things will get better. Plus, what does that have to do with Miggy?
December 1, 200520 yr It has nothing to do with Miggy but I don't want a propaganda victory for an Idiot like Hugo Chavez who is a communist and who is steering his country towards communism. Anything that elevates Hugo Chavez is a bad thing in my opinion.
December 1, 200520 yr How about we root for the teams and the players and we forget about friggin politics? Geesh, people around here take things too seriously.

February 17, 200620 yr Lucaze...how nice of you to join us. I notice Italia has drafted the likes of Mike Piazza....good luck! How are the Olympics feeling over in Italy?
February 17, 200620 yr Naturally, I'll be rooting for PR, but I'd also like for all current (and certain former) Marlins to shine individually. I got tix to the PUERTO RICO vs. NY METS Exhibition Game in Port St. Lucie. Hope Pudge and Bernie are there, as I'm fairly certain the Two Carloses will be -- but, on which side..? :mischief2 ...
