Any chance the Marlins could get a couple of broken bats and some batting practice balls for LoDuca? Maybe a few slightly used pinetar rags too!!!! In just one of these trades could THEY get someone with some MLB experience please? Hairston/Aquino would help right now to be at least some what competitive. Better yet wait on the trade of LoDuca and JP until some free agents have signed so they can get a team with a little desperation.

We dont want Hairston. By all accounts he has iron hands and no range.

see my sig, I guess they are showing their true colors. They don't see themselves on this market long term, so it doesn't matter how much they piss the current small fan base.

cintron is talented, but a headcase ......... in a dream world the d'back got tired of conor jackson and give up on him and he flourishes here.............

Why anyone would want Chris Snyder is beyond me.

 

He struggled big time in his first full year in the majors.. but he's still only 24 years old. Hit .301, 15 HR and 51 RBIs in AA in '04... and has always had a nice OBP.

 

And by all accounts, is a great defensive catcher.

 

 

There's not too many young, cheap, major league ready catchers out there that I can think of.
