I'm crossing my fingers and praying - Things going well - Site is I-75 and Hialeah heights (the only site) - Both parties doing their due diligence (city of Hialeah and Marlins) - After the end of the WBC, MLB should be down here negotiating a deal (Bob Dupay and Co) - A nice entertraiment/shop center would be built next to the stadium. Making this a 12 months/year place to go. Source is Jerry del Castillo. I've been listening to Jerry for a long time, and I don't think he would come up with this stuff on his own.

It did say on ESPN's Bottom ticker today that the Marlins will no longer talk further plans with San Antonio until in-state plans that have been brought up are disscussed... So these rumors could be true!

March 16, 200620 yr Is the land they are purchasing with the UDB? Most of the site is on the other side of the UDB. If this rumor is true it shows the county and city of Hialeah are pretty confident Application 5 will be approved.
