Truly horrible story that happened to me

Featured Replies

Ok, well...I am the most arachnaphobic person you'll ever meet. Scared to death of spiders, if I see one, I wont kill it, I'll run away. If one by chance touches me, I scream and run. I cant even look at pictures of spiders without getting that shiver up my spine.

Anyway, last night I was watching CSI on Spike, as I do every night at 11PM on the weekdays. It's hot as hell here, so I decided to fix myself a bowl of icecream, and grabbed a bottle of water.

Well, I was eating the icecream and just happened to look down, and there was a friggin brown recluse crawling around in the bowl(theres an air vent right above my chair, must of just dropped down from there).

Well, at first, I just froze...but then, of course, the bloody death scream. But, amazingly, I didn't throw the bowl, I sat it down gently and sprinted upstairs, tripping halfway up and banging my shin.

I mean, I could of taken a bite out of that thing, and it just totally freaked me out.

Wow.....That is a horrible story. Im a arachnaphobic person too, like you, I wont kill a spider, but I will run like crazy if one gets near me. Festa, that picture is making me shiver.

i would take a shoe and stomp the bitches like i always do, i hate spiders but i dont let them get away from me

as long as they dont bug me and it aint those big hairy ones, im straight.

me too. my worst fear is a tarantula crawling over me in the middle of the night

When I was nine or ten I had a flippin huge brown recluse in my shoe for 30 minutes, I decided to take my shoe off in the van because it felt kinda uncomfortable about 30 seconds later the biggest brown recluse I've ever saw came up to the top of my shoe(by this time I was standing in the passenger seat) mom pulled off to the side of the road, made me open up the door, and she whacked the spider off of the shoe.

bro that ain't even cool

ive was bitten by a brown recluse spider about 6 1/2 years ago and went through eight surgeries and flat lined in the OR once....so spiders as you can imagine are not my best friend.....

Spiders don't really scare me that much.

I have arachnaphobia aswell I scared of every single type of spider especially the black widow and the brown recluse anyways what did you do with the spider hermida_rules?

I can't tell you how many times i've had a bad run in with spiders.

They love me, I swear.

Who is that baseball player who went on the DL b/c he had a nightmare about spiders, and then woke up fast and bumped his head on the side table next to him.

I had my mother kill it...I suprisingly sat the bowl down without throwing it, but after I did I screamed and ran and fell. And, didn't go back into the basement until the next night and saw another big spider that took about 5 sprays with insecticide to kill.

I hadn't been that scared since I was like 10 and was in the garden and saw a big garden spider...those are harmless, but they are huge.

I was playing in my back yard once and while sitting in the grass, got up to see a colony of fire ants crawling and stinging me on my leg....That was not pretty looking.

I knew a girl that worked at Dairy Queen and some spiders got into some bananas and must have put their eggs in there. She said someone opened it up and about 100 spiders came out of that damn thing (the guy opening it dropped it).

She said she's never eat there again.

Here it is:

Glenallen Hill (Blue Jays)

Went on the DL because of cuts suffered after smashing a glass table while dreaming he was being attacked by spiders ... anyway, that's his story, and he's sticking to it.

:lol :lol :lol

I have a bigger problem with snakes than spiders. They aren't that big a deal, unless it's a black widow or something.
