Hey the rest of the pitching today looked pretty damn good though.

 

Moehler pitched MUCH better (which only angers me since I want Ricky Nolasco in there, but I'll be patient)...

 

Josh Johnson was great & Borowski looks like he's really starting to settle in.

I guess its time to cut Herpes and bring up another young gun....... I had more hope for Mota throughout the whole year last season than I have for this guy right now.

We need to have an intervention with Joe and get him off of his Herges addiction. He's not a workhorse, he doesn't have electric stuff, he's not one of those veteran guys that know how to pitch with lower velocity, and when he throws strikes, it's always over the middle of the plate.

I actually rather have Petit brought up now over Herges. I hope he logs onto this site and reads our words of fury and anger, and cry..like the little girl he is.

Resop, Carlisle, Kensing, or Clontz are all better options to Herges in AAA.

I'm not going to give up on the kid just yet. Hopefully he's found his niche as a reliever, he's pitched well so far this year out of that role.
