Posted April 29, 200618 yr Next time Girardi puts Herges in a close game I'm going to punch him in the face :knockout
April 29, 200618 yr got us out of a jam last game, but walking the leadoff batter in extra innings is grounds for jail time IMO.
April 29, 200618 yr Author I hate Herges I hate Herges I hate Herges I hate Herges I hate Herges I hate Herges I hate Herges I hate Herges I hate Herges I hate Herges I hate Herges I hate Herges I hate Herges I hate Herges I hate Herges :banghead :banghead :banghead :banghead Make him go away PLEASE
April 29, 200618 yr Author It makes me so mad that we come back in 9th to only have that spaz walk the leadoff hitter. I'm so angry right now
April 29, 200618 yr i came on just to start such a post. The kids are doing a much better job out of the pen. Sure theyve blown a few, but herges blows it every time
April 29, 200618 yr Hey the rest of the pitching today looked pretty damn good though. Moehler pitched MUCH better (which only angers me since I want Ricky Nolasco in there, but I'll be patient)... Josh Johnson was great & Borowski looks like he's really starting to settle in. And best of all, NO WALKS..... .... well, until Herges.
April 29, 200618 yr I guess its time to cut Herpes and bring up another young gun....... I had more hope for Mota throughout the whole year last season than I have for this guy right now.

April 29, 200618 yr We need to have an intervention with Joe and get him off of his Herges addiction. He's not a workhorse, he doesn't have electric stuff, he's not one of those veteran guys that know how to pitch with lower velocity, and when he throws strikes, it's always over the middle of the plate.

April 29, 200618 yr Resop, Carlisle, Kensing, or Clontz are all better options to Herges in AAA. That really says something up Herges when we're talking about bringing up Batting Practice.
April 29, 200618 yr I actually rather have Petit brought up now over Herges. I hope he logs onto this site and reads our words of fury and anger, and cry..like the little girl he is.

April 29, 200618 yr I keep seeing the title and thinking it says Herpes....i guess that's just as bad
