June 9, 200620 yr Michael Bay...... sigh.... :confused ah whatever, maybe it'll be his kind of movie actually.
June 9, 200620 yr This is the type of movie that Michael Bay was tailor made to direct. It should be fun.

June 9, 200620 yr Michael Bay is trash. This is the type of movie that Michael Bay was tailor made to direct. I think maybe I could agree on both of these counts. I just hope it works somehow, but I won't have my hopes up. Am I the only one that thought he took a potentially great idea in The Island and turned it into a boring soulless piece of garbage? Or perhaps he wasn't totally to blame there, I'm not certain. But I have yet to like anything he's done. I mean Pearl Harbor? Armageddon? The Rock? Bad Boys?? Quite a resume he's building... Not that I think Transformers should be some highbrow piece of filmmaking :lol so who knows, with Speilberg as executive producer, & Tom DeSanto lending a hand, maybe it will surprise me.

From the trailers, it looked like a remake of Parts: The Clonus Horror. That movie was terrible.

June 10, 200620 yr Holy crap, they really got all thsoe actors??????? I ask again, where is the DBZ live action film????? Why is the countdown for 25 days? I was thinking the same thing, possibly an official trailer?
June 10, 200620 yr Holy crap, they really got all thsoe actors??????? I ask again, where is the DBZ live action film????? Why is the countdown for 25 days? I was thinking the same thing, possibly an official trailer? A year in advance? The movie is due in July, 2007. That would be a stretch even for a teaser trailer.
June 10, 200620 yr By official trailer, I mean't just some sort of official footage. Per Wikipedia, Bay has said a teaser trailer and poster will be out July 4, 2006. We have our answer.
June 10, 200620 yr Of course it's a teaser. There were teasers for Da Vinci Code during Superbowl 39.

June 29, 200620 yr A fan created a short movie of a truck transforming into Optimus Prime. Just think of what they will be able to do in the feature film. http://www.blackfilm.com/20060512/features...est_video.shtml So damn cool.
June 30, 200620 yr And now Paramount has released the official teaser trailer today. http://www.filmwad.com/out.phtml?u=http%3A...ersmovie.com%2F
July 4, 200620 yr Does anybody know which Decepticons/Autobots will be featured?.... or how many will represent each side? I would love to see Perceptor, Thundercraker, Jazz and so in the movie
July 11, 200620 yr Michael Clarke Duncan is dropping out of the project because he and Bay couldn't get on the same page... "In an effort to deliver the timeliest and geekiest giant versatile robot news, all the movie sites have been reporting that Michael Clarke Duncan would star in Michael Bay's "Transformers." And he was going to. But he's not anymore. From ComingSoon.net: ""Believe me. Trust me when I say I wanted to do that movie. Trust me when I say I wanted to do 'Transformers.' I'm a big kid at heart. I watched 'Transformers.' That was one of my favorite cartoons. Optimus Prime was one of my favorite characters and to be head of a Navy Seal team going in and fighting these gigantic robots would have been perfect. But, we just, I don't know. It was oil and water. It just did not mix and I wanted it to. Me and Michael Bay talked but we were on two different pages. I told him I was really sad because I said 'you know I'm coming to do good work.' I said 'you already know that. You won't have an actor that comes in high and that doesn't know his work.' I said 'you know that I'm coming to do good work.' We just couldn't get it together." http://www.rottentomatoes.com/news/comments/?entryid=342966 Looks like Bay really has a handle on the movie. :plain
