July 13, 200620 yr but they worked so well together in Armageddon! Bear! *can't believe I knew that off the top of my head*
July 15, 200620 yr Here is some footage from the movie courtesy of the U.S Air Force http://www.af.mil/news/story.asp?storyID=123023092 Video on the right.
July 25, 200620 yr hehe, love the teaser posters. even the tagline isn't bad. Does anybody know which Decepticons/Autobots will be featured?.... or how many will represent each side? I would love to see Perceptor, Thundercraker, Jazz and so in the movie how about Soundwave? You've gotta update that guy. He was cool sounding in the cartoons, but you can't have a giant robot running around in 2007 changing into a cassette player. :lol :lol and I don't know about which characters, but here's some of the aircraft that will be featured in the film.... either with the U.S. troops or as Decepticons? :mischief2 The professionalism of Airmen at Holloman also came into play, Lieutenant Hodge said, not to mention one special item: the only operational F-117 wing. The proximity of the CV-22 Osprey at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque was also a plus because the film will feature both aircraft. ?The F-117s will be pictured prominently in the movie, both as static background and taxiing aircraft,? said Lieutenant Hodge, who has been a fan of Transformers since he was a child. ?The CV-22 Osprey is scheduled to make its feature film debut in this movie, along with the F-22 Raptor.? Also featured in the film will be the A-10 Thunderbolt II, AC-130 and C-130 Hercules, C-17 Globemaster III, MH-53 Pave Low, HH-60 Pave Hawk, MQ-1 Predator unmanned aerial vehicle and Air Force One. The filming of the F-22, C-17, Predator and Air Force One will be done at another location.
August 17, 200620 yr Tomorrow morning at 11:00am PST Yahoo! will be hosting a live webcast with Transformers writers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, where they will be announcing the names of all the robots that will appear in the film. After the announcement, Roberto and Alex will be answering questions from fans via the live webcast. Fans can visit the film’s official website to start posting questions today (or send them directly to questions@transformersmovie.com). The site will also have the link to the webcast up soon. Transformers, directed by Michael Bay, hits theaters on July 4, 2007. Source Awesome. I'm looking forward to this.
August 19, 200620 yr Here they are: AUTOBOTS: Optimus Prime. Bumblebee ("The same G1 character we always knew and loved...He's the scout, the one that comes ahead of the Autobots"). Jazz. Ratchet (medical officer/science officer - new form, not an ambulance). Ironhide ("He's the muscle - a tough soldier...The first one to jump into battle" ). DECEPTICONS: Megatron (has a Social Darwinist view of humanity - survival of the fittest). Starscream. Brawl ("an extremely pissed off Decepticon. Always ready to jump into a fight, even when the fight isn't worth it.") Bonecrusher. Barricade. Skorpinok. Frenzy (an infiltrator). Blackout (sends an EMP-style blast to take out electronics, detection devices, etc. in advance of Decepticon attack). Source
August 19, 200620 yr Bumblebee won't be a Bug. VW is the culprit. They've become VERY uptight about their brand image lately. Weak.
August 19, 200620 yr Bumblebee won't be a Bug. VW is the culprit. They've become VERY uptight about their brand image lately. Weak. After the glorious failures of the Phaeton, Passat W8, and Touareg can you really blame them?
August 28, 200620 yr The Osprey is a deathtrap. Should of used former enemy planes/tanks as Decepticon's transformed mode...such as the some MiG varients, Hind Ds, Russian T model tanks, Mirage fighter planes.... and the decision to use a Pavehawk instead of a Blackhawk is mind boggling.
September 5, 200620 yr that picture of Megatron. W. T. F. :plain an alien jet? I thought they took the forms of machines on our planet? /obsessing.
September 8, 200620 yr Pictures of Megatron from the film who sadly is not a gun or tank: Well, that just killed about 78% of the interest in this movie. Megatron looks like pure garbage and a complete joke and mockery of the transformers. This is Megatron.
March 24, 200719 yr Hugo Weaving has been cast as Megatron: Back in January we reported rumblings that the voice of Megatron was going to be either original voice over actor Frank Welker or one of the best new voices that Hollywood has to offer, Hugo Weaving. Guess what? Weaving got the gig! We have been hearing rumblings about this forever, Tom DeSanto and Don Murphy were always vocal about it and Frank Welker gave it his best, but voices change, and now mayhem maestro Michael Bay has decided to bring in Hugo Weaving to voice the leader of the decepticons. But O.G. T-fans don't despair, I have been told there might still be a Transformer that Frank Welker would voice. Who? Still don't know but you can count on the IESB to find out. I, for one, am totally down with Agent Smith voicing Megatron. This really could've been bad, one rumor that we heard about a month ago was that rapper Ludicrous, turned wannabee actor was also in the running. So now you can see that Hugo Weaving is a much better choice. Source
March 26, 200719 yr "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings" - Optimus Prime holy crap is that the same voice as the original cartoon Optimus Prime? that rules. link the trailer's pretty good, I'm still baffled from those Megatron pictures.
March 27, 200719 yr "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings" - Optimus Prime Kinda lame considering "Do a Barrel Roll!" got the most votes.
March 27, 200719 yr holy crap is that the same voice as the original cartoon Optimus Prime? Peter Cullen :thumbup
