June 25, 200620 yr Wow. That's a trip back in time. I'm personnally waiting for Windows Longhorn. Vista* My brother is a beta tester for them and I have used it a bit. It's pretty nice. FWIW, Windows Me is one of the worst products, not just for operating systems or computer programs but all products, of all time.

June 25, 200620 yr Let me see....I remember using Windows 3.0...then 3.1 came out and it was much faster on my 66mhz 486DX. Then came Windows 95 and everything was changed....the rest is history as they say. I have an iBook (original Blueberry Clamshell model) with Mac OS 8.6 and I don't plan on running OS X on it. How is Mac OS X for those who have it? As for Linux....which form is better?

June 25, 200620 yr ME has to be one of the worst computer programs EVER. Whoever let that onto the market deserves to die (Was it you, Bill??).
June 25, 200620 yr FWIW, Windows Me is one of the worst products, not just for operating systems or computer programs but all products, of all time. It's strange, but my desktop (shared with my brother) ran Windows Me for years and we never really had an OS-related problem. I guess we were lucky but then again it wasn't used much after we got our own laptops. It now has XP, though.

I thought so....I may try running Ubuntu Linux on it because that boots off a CD and would allow me to use Firefox. I likely will not buy another Mac again though....I like my PCs and the iBook has been great...but somewhat troublesome. No bootleg for me....Ubuntu CDs headed my way and I want to try that....it looks alot like OS X.
June 28, 200620 yr Windows 3.1...that was really my first introduction into Microsoft. Windows 95 was so much better. 98 was a nice lil upgrade. ME can die and suck donkey testicles. I wanted to put it on my sister's computer so when she screws it up, I wont care too much. XP is a nice program, I have heard great things about Vista, cant wait to spin my wheels with it.
