What the hell is an A&P?! :lol Do you know what I have for supermarket chaines? Wal-Mart every 40 something miles. And most of those aren't even Super Wal-Marts. Well, I suppose I have Hannaford and Shaws. But those are New England but even still, they're all at least 25 miles between.

But, I've had so many problems at the deli counter and at the 10 items or less lane that I'm now a fan of SuperTarget. There's one near my home and it's ,u new favorite store. Plus, the store brand (Market Pride) is as good, if not better than the national brand. I've gotten some lousy Publix brand stuff. Publix managers have no cojones.

Still, I cannot believe they closed the original Coral Springs Publix after Wilma.

HOLY sh*t THAT PLACE IS REDICULOUS.
July 1, 200620 yr Publix serves up some excellent sandwiches. We have two Publix's here practically across the street from each other, and they're building a third about a half mile away.
July 1, 200620 yr They just built me a new Publix near home....previously I had to drive 6 miles or so. Wal-Mart is going to open some Neighborhood Markets in the Cape, but if the prices and products are not good enough, Publix will continue. We also have SweetBay, Winn-Dixie, Albertson's, and BJ's in town now. Publix is like the supermarket equivalent to the corner drug store.
July 1, 200620 yr Lowes food > * Isn't that a hardware/home improvement store? No, the 'food' part distinguishes this. http://www.lowesfoods.com/ I've only seen them in North Carolina, no idea where else they are.
