If Garner was playing to win, he would have managed the bullpen better, put in more qualified defensive replacements and actually put together a few signs. Beltran scored the second run on his own. Garner was just a glorified cheerleader and should have given other players a chance to showcase their abilities. They are all All-Stars.

From your statement, you are also stating that if you use bench players more, its because as a manger, you dont care about the outcome of the game.
