GAME: Nationals at Florida Marlins 7:05pm

PREDICTION: Florida Marlins

REASON:

After taking care of the Astros over the weekend, look for the Marlins to keep things rolling on Monday evening, when they host the Washington Nationals.

Florida's offense exploded during their weekend set with Houston, and I suspect there's a good chance of that happening again here tonight. Tony Armas makes his return from the DL, and with the way he's pitched against the Marlins, this may not be the best of spots to get back into the flow. He owns a career 3-9 record against the Fish, and in his last start against them yielded five earned runs and didn't make it out of the third inning.

Ricky Nolasco obviously isn't the most attractive pitcher on Monday's board. Not after allowing nine earned runs in less than two innings of work last time out against the Mets. However, this is a kid that has shown plenty of maturity throughout the season. He can, and will, bounce back from that terrible performance. The Nats haven't exactly been tearing things up, and we'll call for them to hit a speedbump here. Take Florida.

Marlins played 3 games at TB...lost all 3. RFK is a grass field right? Other than TB and MIN and TOR I can't think of any other turf fields.
