August 27, 200620 yr He signs, makes three strong appearances at single A Lakeland, and now he's a Detroit Tiger. Gotta be a crazy journey for the kid. He will start in the bullpen, and more than likely will make his first showing in Yankee Stadium this week.

August 27, 200620 yr Wasn't it part of his contract that he had to be called up this year ? That's certainly a strange provision. I don't know much about the guy, is he really gonna be capable of doing anything in the majors at this point?

I don't know much about the guy, is he really gonna be capable of doing anything in the majors at this point? he certainly has the size and ability to be great pretty soon like Hanleylicious said, he'll prob just do some mopup to get the work in. i cant see them put in a guy from Class A in a pressure situation

August 28, 200620 yr Yea because we didn't call up Logan Kensing to start games in the middle of the wild card race... oh wait. we called him up out of need, not because he was close to being ready or because he had it in his contract

August 30, 200620 yr Just watched his first inning, looked good, he dwarfed their infield. Threw 4 seamer at 95 to 97 What looked like a 2 seamer or cutter at 89-90 which moved in to righties Slurve at 80-81 Pitched well
