New record reached

In two years, Miggy'll probably hold every non-speed based Marlin record both for the single season and career.

Miguel has always been awesome good thing we have a few people getting hot at the same time like Willy and Hanley,so our offense doesnt only have to depend on Cabs for runs

Piazza may have worn a Marlins uniform for a week, but he was never really a marlin. Hoffman's a relief pitcher, nuff said. As far as Sheffield goes, the season Cabera's having at his young age stacks up well with Sheffield's best seasons of his career. Just from watching him day in and day out there's no doubt in my mind that he is the most talented player we've had in this franchise.

Sign him to a 7 year $100 million contract STAT.

...and that's a bargain.

Pujols signed the same deal, I consider it more than fair.

Offensively, no question, and soon he will more feared than Sheffield ever was. Best at 3rd base ? Hmmm, are you forgetting Lowell who has the highest fielding % at 3rd base in all of MLB history ? :mischief2

I think there's no doubt Lowell is the better defensive player, but are you saying Lowell was a better overall 3rd baseman than Cabs?
