September 26, 200619 yr Because of the Phillies playoff chase, the Marlins-Phillies game on Friday has been moved to 7:00 and will be on ESPN and Saturday's game has been moved to 1:25 and will be shown on FOX.
September 26, 200619 yr Hopefully the nation gets to watch the Marlins knock the Phillies out of play off contention. That would be so sweet.
September 26, 200619 yr Author For Friday's game, it will only be on ESPN outside of the Philly and Florida local markets. It will be shown on CSN and SUN Sports locally. Also, Sunday's game could be picked up by ESPN/ESPN2 if it has a direct playoff consequence.
September 26, 200619 yr Hopefully the nation gets to watch the Marlins knock the Phillies out of play off contention. That would be so sweet. That's pretty unlikely considering the way the Phillies have been playing against the Marlins. You never know, and it would be nice to keep them out of the playoffs.

Thanks for the heads up. We will have to reschedule our Saturday. And that start time being 30 minutes earlier Friday means alot to us on what time we leave here to beat the worst of the traffic.
September 26, 200619 yr It's bad enough Sunday is in the freakin' heat and sun...now Saturday too...grrrr
September 26, 200619 yr I'm going Sat. & Sun. and that's 2 day games in a row. LOL I feel for ya Strike. We didn't trade in our regular seats for the shadey 200 level for this week end. Is that grounds for divorce?? Like ummmm, cruel and unusual punishment or something??? Tell me now before I build that new deck on the house. LOL

September 26, 200619 yr Marlins have played real well on national television this year I remember one goody: game vs. Yanks w/ Anibal getting his first win.
September 26, 200619 yr Marlins have played real well on national television this year I remember one goody: game vs. Yanks w/ Anibal getting his first win. Oh yeah. I forgot about that one. If I remember correctly that was the only good showing by the Fish on national TV

Well you never know, they might be more inspired coming back home playing in front of a big crowd to close the season :|
September 26, 200619 yr Why would it be nice? It would be nice for the next time I go to a road game in Philly.

September 27, 200619 yr The people sitting around me were all moaning about the Saturday time change. I think it's unanimous that the fewer day games we have the better. It's not so bad in April and May but then it's just too brutal. As much as I hate it I know that I'll be missing baseball so much that I always feel like I have to go to as many games as I can during the last homestand.

Maybe it's because I work outside that sitting in the 200 section seems more like sitting inside to me. I don't find it hot at all. Especially seeing that our season tix are in 127 row 3 (soon to be row 1. or so we are told). That's a darn sauna during day games. You know it's hot when youy can't wait to get up to the tunnel and think that little breeze coming through there is better than a/c. Don't get me wrong, we love our section and seats. We know most of the people around us and the atmosphere of that section. But my wife works in a/c all day and she finds the 200 section very comfortable as well.

September 27, 200619 yr I am excited that 2/3 games will be on air here in CT. Hwoever, as much as I love the Marlins, I do not support the game moving to Sun night as it is Yom Kippur and I wouldn't be watching! I'd rather listen during the day, but it'd still be cool to catch the last game of 2006!

It's very comfortable at night and when there's a breeze during the day it's OK. However, those 1pm games when the temp and humidity are really high and there is little breeze are not too comfortable (although better than being in the sun). My hair and I don't like it. Men don't concern themselves too much with bad hair weather.
