Cyggy, you live in Phillies' territory and can get Marlins games on MLB Extra Innings. Comcast offers it on most of their upgraded systems.

I would really appreciate it if you guys could continue the effort to get Brighthouse Network to pick up FSN. I think the Marlins winning the World Series could help the effort.

PLEASE REQUEST FOX SPORTS NET FLORIDA on Bright House Networks!

I appreciate all the help I can get.

Thank You

PLease let us watch some games in Brevard County! We used to be the spring training site for the Fish and there are a lot of fans here. It is ridiculous that I can't watch my Fish here.

Amen, brother.

and again I want to thank Cape Fish for his efforts to get the marlins broadcasted throughout Florida.

Thanks Cape.

OK, you guys up in the Orlando-Daytona-Melbourne market:

I am considering adding these two stations since PAX 56/WESH isn't answering emails.

WRBW UPN65 (aired Marlins games from 1993-1997)

Programming Contact Information:

Phone #: 407-741-5115

Fax #: 407-333-0234

(No E-Mail Provided)

WRDQ Action-TV 27 (aired D-Rays games for a couple of years)

Cape, that sounds good. I remember when UPN used to carry the marlins a long time ago. Action-TV aired the D-Rays up until last year when Pax picked them up so they could be interested.

Sportschannel is now Fox Sports Net. Funny thing is that Sunshine is owned 49% by Fox and 51% by the major cable companies.

Back in 1997 you could see the difference between the mom and pop Sunshine and the national scale Sportschannel.

Sportschannel had a scorebox with bases and nice stereo sound.

Sunshine had mono audio and used a banner with the score, count and men on bases written out which they showed every so often.

I shudder to think what the games might look like in they were still on Sunshine.

Nice, good job Cape, now if we could get the Panthers broadcast throughout the State instead of the Lightning... :shifty

I was up in Tampa over the break and I switch to FSN to watch the Panthers game and it said it was on but they don't freaking have it up there. Its frustrating, I mean they put Nick Van Exel on for crying out loud...

Blame the NHL TV council.

Here are the state NHL Territories from Sunshine Network's site.

Red is Panthers

Blue is Lightning

FSN has a North feed for cable systems in areas outside of Panthers territory.

Its frustrating, I mean they put Nick Van Exel on for crying out loud...

Beyond the Glory is really going down the drain. They had episodes with Vince, Kobe, and Sheffield but now they are leaning towards Bobby Bowden and Nick Van Exel.

Beyond the Glory: Nick Van Exel

Thanks but that is the biggest piece of bulls*** since the Panthers have generally had the better fans and better hockey team. It was only last year that the Lightning got good and started to materialize into something. Those hockey fans up there are preatty big bandwagoners...

I think Fox Sports Net should replace all thos shows with a real Sports News program like SportsCenter and replays of classic games from the teams that specific FSN airs.

Fox Sports Net tried sportscenter-like shows a couple of years of ago and they failed pretty badly. There was the National Sports Report and in each market, they had local nightly show- the Florida Sports Report.

I know, I was talking about like when SportsChannel Florida used to show CNNSI. It would be like ESPNews where you have the hard sportsnews most of the day with updates during other programming.

My local Comcast Sports affiliate does a good job at filling their non-game programming time. They have diary-style behind-the-scenes series for a few local colleges' sports teams. An ask the coach program for pro football, basketball and hockey. Fantasy sports shows. Two sports media personalities' own talk shows (would be four if Kornhesier and Wilbon weren't contracted to ABC/ESPN.) A local high school sports show. And a 30-minute highlights and news show they repeat from 5 am to 12pm. Pretty decent programming if they didn't fill so many slots with informercials during the early afternoon.

Had FSN & Pax, when i lived in West Palm, Moved to Orlando for college, only to find out they dont offer it, its Florida, there supposed to have it, whats wrong with them, get rid of something like soapnet.

And especially after a game like the one against the Giants, 9-1, i wont even be able to watch it. Highlights are one thing, but the actual game is so much better/

Hopefully this campaign is successful.

nice thing you are doing, but like others i get the channels in my area.

i leave for boston (college) at the beginning of september, so i plan on getting MLB.tv on the computer for that month to see the games.
