November 23, 200619 yr It's open M-F. During the season, they open on Saturdays. Evidently with some exceptions. This is from the Marlins web site. "An upcoming event open to the public will take place on Saturday, Dec. 9, from noon-1 p.m. ET. The "Holiday Blowout at the Marlins en Miami Store" (3701 SW 8th St., Miami) will feature manager Fredi Gonzalez, who will sign autographs, mascot Billy the Marlin and the Marlins Mermaids. " Personally I'm not a big fan of that store. We drove there one Saturday this season before a game just to check out all the hoopla. Pretty much a let down from what I was expecting. Not much parking, which isn't that big a concern because the store is so small it can't fit many customers. And I really didn't see much in there that can't be bought at at least one of the shops at the stadium. I suppose it's a good way to get an off season Marlins fix if you happen to live near it tho. Maybe I was just expecting too much. I was thinking along the lines of the shop Wayne used to have on the Ft Lauderdale strip back in those days. Now that was a store worth making the trip for. Believe it was on the second floor of a 3 story building with a couple of bar/eateries on the Strip side. Tons of Marlins, Dolphins, and Panthers stuff there that was extremely hard to find elsewhere.
November 23, 200619 yr I disagree. The store provides a great service for those who live south (like me). Tickets without ticketmaster surcharges, free autograph days (I got Annibal Sanchez right after his no-hitter, plus AJ, Pudge, LuisC & others), nice radio remotes (I met Hank Aaron & Tani Perez there), plus some great markdowns on older stuff (I got a 97 WS hat for $3). Maybe not worth a hike from Broward, but for Dade dwellers it's a nice, convenient store.

November 23, 200619 yr The store is open year round except for like two weeks for the holidays. Off Season Hours are 9am to 5pm (Monday-Friday) It's a nice cozy store, very intimate. As for shipping out of state, yes it could be done...there isn't a website for it because MLB does not permit it, since MLB has their store online... Prices at the store are WAYYYYYYY cheaper than those you'd find at the stadium.....
November 23, 200619 yr Yes, it's a nice store. I've been there a few times. Last time I was there I was looking for an Uggla, Hanley or Hermida t-shirt but noticed they don't sell them. How come?

I lived in little havana for 18 years before moving to north miami, and man it's a waste of time. Unless you are an old man with no way of getting to the game you pay 20 dollars and take the Marlins bus to the game three hours before game time and it also covers cheap seats, I don't know if prices differ now.
November 26, 200619 yr I think it's great. You can get a lot of neat stuff on sale. I have found stuff that you don't find in the stadium.
