It somehow ended up in the Mets bullpen last year (Must've shattered and that part ended out beyond third base so they just tossed it into the pen). After the game my brother and I went down and tried to get the guy cleaning out the bullpen to give it to us and he told us he wasn't allowed...until we offered him 10 bucks. lol. Had to meet him outside some gate 25 minutes later and made the deal. He also threw in the bullpen card from that night, I think that's also in my photobucket.

Nice. I have a few things -- my most prizes piece is a Howard Johnson autographed notebook cover a friend gave me. Also have various Mets special edition baseball card sheets and (as painful as it may have been) the covers from the 3 major NY papers from the 2000 WS. Still have to frame and hand some of the more recent Mets SI and ESPN covers.

i have a few things in my collection, mostly pretty bland though.

i have a autograph ball i bring to games for baseball players to autograph, and a display in my room of a super bowl seat cushion and then side by side, autographed balls of roger clemens (personally signed) and koby clemens that i got in march through one of my friends in the astros orgization.

i also have a kobe bryant poster from the getty in la of him sitting somewhere at the getty (this was pre sex scandal though), and some old jerseys and hats from giveaways.

i'll try to take some pictures of at least some of the stuff later.

You guys have some great stuff I'm really jealous. How long did it take most of you to put together your full collections? TheStork I really enjoyed your pictures. I think the presentation and layout of your stuff makes it even better in the pictures.

thanks. :)

It's taken me probably 5-6 years to put together all of my stuff. But about 75% of my collection (besides the baseballs) I've aquired in the past year.

Pretty Bad ass stuff guys! I have tons of memoribilla too, but all Marlins stuff... To lazy to take pics

Hey Stork where did you get the game worn Hanley jacket and that cool replica of the Wrigles scoreboard?

at the last game Hanley tossed up his sweatshirt, I was lucky enough to grab it. That's where I also got the batting gloves. my goal for next year is matt treanor's catching gear, which he throws up, that would be very mega-neato. The wrigley scoreboard I got at the giftshop inside wrigley field a couple of years ago.

Here's my most prized item:

Evander Holyfield's mouthguard from the Holyfield vs. Tyson "Bite Fight"

Sometimes, when I'm lonely or scared, I'll gnaw on it to put me to sleep.

Here's a pic of my Pavel Bure game-used jock:

I was too embarrassed to ask him to sign it for me.

wouldn't surprise me either...luis gonzalez's used chewing gum sold for something ridiculous like $3,000.

I don't have pictures, but I'm pretty proud of my stuff.

Some Ted Williams stuff, he was a friend of my dad's so I only have a card of his signed and personalized to me, but he gave me a bunch of his old magazines and stuff when he found out I was a big baseball fan.

A picture of Joe DiMaggio's 56th hit autographed by Joe D. An 16X20 of Willie Mays' "the Catch" autographed by Willie. Another 16X20 of Cabrera's 3 run homer in game 7 of the NLCS autographed, another 16X20 of Willis after his 1 hitter against the Mets, autographed, a 16X20 of Sebasses game 4 walkoff, autographed and then the prize of the 2003 picture collection, Pudge's play at the plate, 16X20, autographed. A Barry Bonds auto'd bat and 16X20, team balls signed by the2005 and 2006 Marlins teams and official World Series balls signed by the '97 and '03 teams. Plus some random autographed photos of Sheffy and Floyd. The 1997 SI Marlins special autographed by Livan, the 2003 autographed by Beckett. Team issued bats signed by Lowell, Pudge, Hanley and the entire 1993 team.

A bunch of other stuff I'm probably forgetting, but my favorite piece is the real deal 1997 World Series Ring. Now that's a thing of beauty.

Now only if you can get your hands on the 03 one

The majority of my items are on this site, which was recently featured in a magazine.

It has pictures of my 187 different baseball HOF player autographs, along with most of the pictures of cards I have had signed through the mail (over 1000).

My non-HOF items are mostly not in there, and that includes several 2003 WS signed baseballs by guys like Pudge, Beckett, Willis, and Cabrera.

swift-- how'd you get the world series ring? that's awesome.

I've only got two autographed items; an Andre Dawson ball, and a Brian Skrudland 1996 Stanley Cup puck.

future GM-- do you use the jack smalling books?

No, the Harvey Meiselman books are updated yearly.
