June 8, 200719 yr Hey guys, just wondering if I should be worried about alot of rain tonight... The only time I ever get hooked up with seats and the forcast looks sh*tty. I'm in the 1st row of the founders club :banghead http://www.weather.com/weather/map/current...pnav_undeclared
June 8, 200719 yr It looks fine where I am at the moment (like 20 min from the stadium) A lot can change in a few hours though, weather here moves and changes so fast that I doubt the game will get more than a delay. EDIT: Haha didn't see the map at first, well anyway stuff moves through here quick, lets see what happens.
June 8, 200719 yr its pouring now in NW Dade near I-75 and Miami Gardens Drive, and the rain is moving from west to east. Should move on through by gametime though.
June 8, 200719 yr I have tickets but debating whether to go still ... do you think there would be BP outside tonight, even if it wasn't raining at the time, I think the ground may be wet from earlier rain etc, so it may be indoor BP... what do you guys think
June 8, 200719 yr I think they would have the tarp covering the field for as long as possible to keep the field dry, so I would guess indoor batting practice
June 8, 200719 yr Meh, I guess I'll go tomorrow or something. Marlins/Devil Rays is too exciting to miss, but I'm not driving down there for a rain out.
June 8, 200719 yr The weather is going to be unsettled all weekend. There's a low pressure system in the Bahamas affecting South Florida, and this low is forecast to move towards SoFla over the next 24-48 hours. All the games could go off just fine, as the rain will not be over 100% of the area but it will be widespread, or they could all be rained out. It's not a normal summer afternoon thunderstorm pattern.
June 8, 200719 yr I'm no weather expert but it looked like it was moving passed it and the rest wasn't going in that direction.
June 8, 200719 yr Okay everyone... get in your cars. We are getting to .500 tonight!!!! :wee ill be there asap...which means the start of tomorrow nights game... kidding...hey someone has to root for the marlins from up here in massachusetts
June 8, 200719 yr It was raining by me earlier, and it was HEAVY. But it passed in 10 minutes. It went by really quick.
