Its the same with every pitcher on this staff........ball, ball, ball, ball, ball, ball

yea well cut JJ some slack

amezaga has been playing a lot better as of late eh?

should have kept him abercrombie in center(yeah...i went there) and moved AA to right and let hermida try to find his head

Your clueless

not to be the grammar nazi...but first of all...its YOU"RE or YOU ARE...and secondly...hermida has shown nothing other than beating on the drays that he belongs in the bigs...which would include the ability to CATCH the ball on a regular basis

Attacking someones grammar is the first sign of a poorly thought out or flat out non-existent argument. I.E., stupid claims, you have nothing when a retort is made, you resort to "you cant spell".

Poophead.

If Hermida could catch the freaking ball most of this probably wouldn't have happened.

yeah but you are asking wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much of a top prospect right fielder...i mean...catching the ball is for losers...but his OPS makes up for every other sh*tty aspect of his game!

uh :banghead

yes?

Absolutely unnecessary because no one is arguing he is where he needs to be defensively, or offensively for that matter.

Give him a chance. Stop being spoiled by Cabrera and Hanley types being amazing immediately. It could be a lot worse.

no...i just dont use age as an excuse for anything...and yeah...we are ALL spoiled by the quickness of the abilities of hanley and cabs to show themselves...however...there is no excuse whatsoever for sloppy outfield defense...i could give two shits about his hitting right now...like someone else said a while back...hermida should have 100 AB's that dont draw alot of criticism because he has been hurt...and thats fine...but nothing gets under my skin like outfielders who cant catch

Great throw and tag there.

So-so throw. Good tag. Olivo is good at plays at the plate, on offense and defense.

4-2 Sox

spike...what is one of your biggest complaints of olivo? if i seem to recall correctly...its that he has a hard time CATCHING the ball...that is my problem with hermida...when they remedy that problem, then i will cease to complain

Classic.

Nomination for post of the year, not sure what category though.

We're still in this the way Contreras is pitching. JJ needs to make quick work of the bottom of the lineup in the 4th if he is going to go 6.

Do you know if he's on a count tonight? Was anything mentioned?

Last time I checked, an outfielder catching the ball and a catcher being able to catch the ball were completely different.

Your arguments aren't valid, whatsoever.

Unknown. But he did have a 95 pitch start in a rehab start. So I'll up my original estimate and say if he is on one, it'd be around 100 pitches and not 90.

BASEBALL PLAYERS NEED TO CATCH THE BALL...is that valid enough for you?

haha Sox announcers just called Miggy wide and thick

Butthead:...uhhh. huh-uh ... uhhh...yeah... he said wide and huh-uh thick....

Fredi said that he isn't on a pitch count and could would probably go between 100-115 durring the on deck show.
