For the year, Carroll is 3 for 23 Olsen is 8 for 26 I'm not saying that Olsen is actually a better hitter than Carroll, but so far Carroll is off to a real bad start. Similarly, remember when Dontrelle was hitting like .500 the first month of 2004?

I know he wants to split the 2 lefties but there are other ways to do that. maybe jake 3rd and miggy 4th and jeremy 5th. Or just let the 2 lefties hit back to back, its not like its never been done before. Other teams do have lefties batting after each other.
