July 17, 200719 yr When determining who's the better GM: Playoff appearances >>>>> World Championships John Schuerholz Seasons: 24 Teams: 2 (KC and ATL) 90 win seasons: 10 100 win seasons: 6 Division titles: 16 Pennants: 6 World Championships: 2 :o John Schuerholz > Life Ding. BTW... Money Schuerholz has/had to play with >>>>>>> Money Billy Beane has/had to play with
July 17, 200719 yr Author Money Schuerholz has/had to play with >>>>>>> Money Billy Beane has/had to play with Yep, Beane is seriously handcuffed in that regard. I think he is a very good GM, his idea of what kind of an offense to create using the resources he has is, in the baseball world, genius. I just read Moneyball again recently and changed my opinion on some of the stuff in there, hindsight is 20/20 for sure but that 2002 draft was a flaming bust. He looks even more silly for how he bashed a lot of GMs that ended up drafting much better than him.
July 17, 200719 yr John Schuerholtz not a good GM? Braves only won one world series... Brian Cashman that good of a GM? his teams won multiple titles... Theo Epstein for all his "genius" has only one title... Wha? Braves Won a World Series Yankees Won multiple World Series. Red Sox Won a World Series. I have no idea what your talking about. Why are you repeating what i just posted? Of that group who are the good GM's?
July 17, 200719 yr good trade for the Cubs you can't go wrong by adquiring Kendall for basically nothing, even if he's struggling, he has more talent than what he is showing

July 17, 200719 yr It makes plenty of sense.....Based on the "no titles" argument for Billy Beane...It means: John Schuerholz and Theo Epstein suck because they only won one title Brian Cashman is one of the greatest of all-time because of all those world series wins... Clearly that isn't true...Schuerholz, Epstein and Beane are probably three of the top GM's in the game.

Clearly that isn't true...Schuerholz, Epstein and Beane are probably three of the top GM's in the game. It still makes no sense. Schuerholz and Theo both have rings, so why do they scuk again?

Yeah, after everything posted in this topic, I re-read it and couldn't help but notice that either, but it was the first time he tried drafting specifically looking for Jeremy Browns, or so it said... you are now free to move around the world...DING :lol
