Been a Marlins fan since the SeaDogs showed up in Portland. I am really ticked with the people around here -- even with the SeaDogs here, they were never really Marlins supporters. And, this year, when the SeaDogs became the Red Sox AA team, you NEVER heard of anyone rooting for the Marlins -- people couldn't forget about the Fish fast enough, even though several of our beloved SeaDogs were now Marlins! But NOW, that the Yankees beat Boston, everyone here is "Go Marlins!" Makes me sick :angry

 

As for support, I often wear my 1997 WS shirt as well as a great shirt of CJ with the slogan "Thou Shalt Not Steal". Of course, I also wear my Yankee shirt on occasion :whistle

tragic story: late October 1999 at Islands of Adventure wearing my clubhouse black '97 championship cap. i got on the Hulk without thinking and during the ride my hat flew off, i was screaming hysterically and everybody thought i was yelling and cursing becuase of the ride. some lady afterward told me that my mom didnt do a good job of teaching me manners. apologized and cursed the b*tch out under my breath as she left and kept cursing the f***ing ride. i was pissed during the entire weekend. i want me another championship cap dammit!!!!!!

i got a white championship cap. it has 2 bats on it with the F logo in between but i dont wear it anymore becuase its signed by a few players. but i miss my clubhouse cap but ill wait for the next model

Tuesday was jersey day at my job (I know like highschool lol.) Well being from Illinois and hating the cubs and their fans I decided I would wear my only Marlins jersey (which I bought last year)...of course I had to pick my favorite Marlin to order from MLB.com Cliff the dirty dawg lol so I had to cover the back up with a Jacket I had in '93 when they first made the jackets (it was so funny everyone was saying I didn't know they had orange in their logo) my marlins hat, and I even busted out my old school marlins velcro wallet. Of course all this was just to spite the Cub fans who where talking chit at every turn of the corner and every cubicle around me...of course now I have to be careful to avoid a lynching.

i guess the usual.... marlins shirts, hats, and gettin a flag for my car. the week before we played the phillies, i was sayin that we'd be in the series-----as a joke and a far-out hope. now that its happened i have no doubt in my mind that these guys can pull it off, tho it won't be easy under any circumstances. these guys sure have lots of momentum rite now. lets go marlins!!!

Normally a Marlins jersey in a bus get s only one or two rude jokes. But things aren't the same in San Francisco.
