July 29, 200719 yr Me and my good friend went to Islands for the day. Had a freaking blast and love the rides and lucked out on the rain. So we planned to go to margaritaville for dinner and planned this out the whole day, because its a nice atmosphere. So yeah i have a fake id and im only 17 and it works everywhere and i have never been turned down, Its a New York ID btw. So i been craving a margarita all day and why not have one at "margaritaville". So the as*hole waiter asks for my id so i take it out. (im very confident with my id because it has never been turned down) The guy walks away with it and before i had the chance to say if its a problem, just give it to me back, i dont need to be checked out. So the guy walks away with it. literally 10 min later 2 managers come by and of course they had to be from brooklyn. So he asks me all the information on the ID and i know everything. Then he goes to me wanna see something magical? so im like yeah why not. He takes my Id and rips it in half and goes this Id is horrible. So he asks me to leave and he wont have anything happen. So my friend and i had to walk out and wall the waiters just looked at me. I then said to the waiter its cool ill have my friend make me a better one next time. And he just looked at me as i walked out. Now i know not to try it ever again at theme parks. ugh :banghead its cool i will have a new one by the end of the week :angel_not :notworthy
July 29, 200719 yr Author Was it "chalked"? those are pretty easy to spot... no the thing is. The back is a real ny id. The front is just a copy and laminated and cut very fine. so i mean it was a really good id. I can take it out and it would b accepted anywhere. The only places i wouldn't take it out was up scale resturants. I would just say if you do not believe me and must study my id i dont want your business. and i usually dont let waiters/waitresses hold it in there hands i just hold it in one hand and let them view unless its some small little joint and not a chain place. ahahha and of course the islands commerical had to just play

I bartended for many years, and I can tell you that would throw a red flag right away if you don't just hand the ID over and you hold it in your hands. 90% of fakes in Florida btw are NY Ids. They are easy to spot.

July 29, 200719 yr Yeah. The people at Universal/IOA are especially cranky when it comes to underage drinking. A group of my friends and I were booted from the park 2 years ago because we were drinking. Mind you, everyone there was 20+, but they "caught" us and banned us for a year. Those under 21 for drinking, and those over 21 for providing the drinkage. Mickey would have let me stay.

July 29, 200719 yr Slightly off topic. I couldn't buy beer from the stands at Wrigley even though I'm 22 years old. If your ID says "Under 21 until so and so date" then they are not allowed to sell it to you. One of my friends who is 23 had the same on his. Absolutely ridiculous. Granted the vendors sold it to me, but still a pain in the ass. /rant And as for fakes. I've seen alotta New Jerseys as the go to one. Virginia is nearly impossible. Damn hologram bs plus now they scan em sometimes at gas stations.

July 29, 200719 yr New York's ID is the easiest to spot a fake. The New York ID actually folds if you bend it. Fakes don't do that.
