July 29, 200718 yr What a proffesional. 1st - He breaks his bat but is strong and lucky enough to drop it in RF for a double 3rd - He hits ANOTHER HR, again a no doubter. 5th - He hits an RBI infield single 8th - He hits an 0-2 pitch the opposite way to get an RBI single. If this guy doesn't win the silver slugger something is wrong with baseball.
July 30, 200718 yr He's an absolute hitting machine. I really wish we'd sign him long term already. He'd be worth every penny. With Hanley and Cabrera, we have arguably two top ten players in all of baseball on our team. Not many organizations can say that.
July 30, 200718 yr I know this is a Cabs thread but I just have to say Hanley is been unbelievably impressive this year, making his numbers last year look like half a season. Reyes is a great player too, but Ramirez should be getting just as much respect, because he is undoubtedly just as "exciting" a player as Reyes is. we all ready know how good Cabs is... hell, he's on my fantasy squad for a reason.
July 30, 200718 yr He's "Givehimwhateverhewantscomecontracttime" studly. No doubt about it :notworthy
July 30, 200718 yr He's a monster but wont be a third basemen much longer. He'll likely move to corner OF in a year or two.

July 30, 200718 yr lawl, how much does Cabrera weigh now? That's my point, he's a top 5 hitter in all of the league but he has close to no range at 3rd base based on me watching him play. He'll have to move to corner OF, DH in the AL or move to 1st base unless he magically loses 30-50 pounds.
July 30, 200718 yr those predictions you got in your signature are "serious" bullsh*t. a "serious run" in the playoffs and a 1st round playoff upset? i didn't know they gave trophies for those incredible accomplishments.

July 30, 200718 yr Arguably, we have the two best young hitters in baseball (under the age of 25/26). Miggy is clearly the best and, frankly, I think Hanley is second.

July 30, 200718 yr Miguel is the best player in the national league not named Albert Pujols. This is not up for debate, and anyone who wants to debate this will be swiftly shot down.

It's: Jason Wood Miggie Jose Alberto Pujos. (For the record, I just like seeing bob break out the stats.)

Albert Pujols

I'm pretty sure Marlins fans get a free cheeseburger every time 5000 fans show up.
