It's just not going to happen,people on the board may not agree with his decisions but the Franchise loves the guy Loria gave Gonzalez an enthusiastic endorsement when talking to reporters on the team's road trip in San Francisco. "Fredi has been terrific," Loria said. "Everybody will agree with that. Good judgment. Straight-forward guy. His energy and his honesty and the way he handles his players. He does a great job. He gets a tremendous amount of respect from everybody in the organization."

I assure you, Admin Beinfest is not calling the dugout and giving Fredi orders. i wouldn't mind that. at least beinfest is one of the best minds of our time. somebody need's to call and give fredi orders because he's clueless at times. do you guys really think we might go through all of august and september without once trying a change in the lineup? at this point we're resigned to watching every game in the hopes of progression and not playoffs. and it just makes no sense to not change the lineup once. by the end of the year, we gotta try hermida 2nd and move down uggla for the love of god. at least for a week.

Dirardi was a tough manaer too, and guys like Scott Olsen need a manager like Ozzie. This team needs to be straightened out.
August 1, 200719 yr LOL Ozzie Guillen. He is really gettin it done this season...yeah. You guys are REALLY reaching on that one. At this point there aren't many changes besides roster moves that can improve this team. I'm giving Fredi a mulligan being his first season. Besides it's really not Fredi's fault he is playing with a strapped roster and a cheap owner.
