Marlins vs Yankees---7:30pm---at Yankee Stadium

Featured Replies

Nice work, Helling...and good glove by Castillo. Helling and Castillo. Where's the rest of the team?

yea thats wut ive been askin...

these arent the same marlins who played yesterday or throught games 6 and 7 of the NLCS. these are some counterfeit cloned fish designed to make the malrins lose

tho it seems castillo got away b4 they could send his clone to the field lol

Mr. "I want the ball in a big game" really struggles when it matters most. I like his regular season work, but Redman is a HUGE post-season choke. Disappointing.....

Hopefully we can get on the board soon.

wow that really sucked

this is really pissing me off :thumbdown

why cant the fish ever be patient at the plate. ivan is there swinging at the second pitch when hes ahead in the count. JEEZ!

Damn! Are we in a rush to go home or something? Somebody wait for a pitch you can hit. This just isn't our game. I have no idea what's going on.

If the Marlins fall in this Game 2, so what. So far, this is parallel to the NLCS. Even if the Yankees win this game, I do not expect them to steamroll their way to the championship.

BELIEVE.

they have to hold the yankees here and go in and score 5 runs in the next two innings. cause come the 8th and 9th inninhgs if the skanks have the lead by then rivera comes in and it's lights out.

it aint over till its over...

and i think that NAILS it right there

Helling looks likw he's pithcing well...But the Marlin hitters are giving Pettite a day off the way they're giving him outs. Pitching on 3 days rests it's important to make the guy work and they're doing the opposite of that.

They've done this before, so it's not over...But if they plan to come back in this game they better get going

Just as i type this Soriano hits a two run bomb...maybe now it is over.

This is just like game 4 of the NLCS. Hopefully we will keep playing and get something to build off of.

Otherwise we know this team will not get down and will show up the next game.

knowing the yankees this last homer it's over. i don't think the fish are coming back this game. the yankees will have insured coming back to ny if they happen to win this game. which i think what their goal was going into this game.

dont forget the Marlins slogan...

" They have us right where we want them "

Ummm no. If the yankees win tonight it doesn't insure crap. Marlins could sweep at home and never come back to NY, winning the World Series 4-1.

Are you missing something?

I haven't been this disappointed in a team effort in a long time. Even in the 13-whatever game against the Cubs it was clear it just wasn't their night. But after the first couple batters in the 2nd inning, we haven't done a damn thing right. They don't even look particularly interested. I don't know what to make of this. I'll feel a lot better if they at least scratch out a couple of runs.

If either team wins all 3 games in Pro Player its not going back to NY

Don't waoory about scoring a couple of runs... As soon as it gets to the 8th or 9th D. Lee will hit an HR or two.

Again, the Marlins are a big disappointment tonight. But it sure as hell ain't over. Just write this one off if we don't come back.

BELIEVE.
