Cowherd is an idiot. He just says that kind of crap so people all over America can go on message boards like I am doing right now and say his name. He completely overlooks the Florida loss to an average Auburn team AT HOME and overlooks the fact that LSU was without their best player on offense, which makes that offense very pedestrian and easy to stop IMO.

Duke-VA Tech feels a little like a grudge match to me this week. During last year's game it seemed like the VPI defense was blatantly trying to knock Thad Lewis out of the game. They picked up 3 late hits on the QB in the first 20 minutes of the game, the last of which was a vicious helmet-to-helmet shot that finally knocked Lewis out for good. It was pretty disgusting.

 

I don't know if we can win, but I hope we match their physicality. Make them earn it. Painfully, if need be. And if we beat them behind Thad's arm, I may very well be the merriest man alive.

VT doesn't have a high scoring offense and that definitely will help us. Hopefully we don't shoot ourselves in the foot with fumbles and holding penalites which have doomed us the past 3 weeks.

 

We haven't scored versus Tech in 2 years, that will absolutely change Saturday.

Tech's going to win....it's going to be close though...Duke's offense may be better then Tech's but the Hokie D is so stifling even without Vince Hall.

 

If Ore gets off then the Blue Devils are in trouble.
