Jets 5. Jets NCAA: 1. Appalachian State 2. Georgia Southern 3. Wofford 4. Citadel 1. FSU 2. Miami 3. Georgia

October 22, 200322 yr MLB Marlins NBA dont have a team, i like AI, JayWill(Bulls), and Dick Jefferson NFL need a team, i like Moss and Galloway NHL Panthers NCAA BBall Hoosiers NCAA Football the underdog
October 22, 200322 yr NBA 1. Bulls 2. Raptors NHL 1. Blackhawks, God do they suck. NFL 1a. Cowboys (no idea why, but i've stuck with 'em ever sine they got bad til now.) 1b. Bears 3. Buccaneers (because my dad has loved them since they came into existence.) MLB 1. White Sox 2. Marlins College Football 1. Northern Illinois (FINALLY the local team is good this year.) 2. Illinois (ugh) 3. Any Big Ten Team not named Michigan, I love the conference. College Basketball 1. Illinois 2. Northern Illinois 3. North Carolina (I love their history, Jordan, Carter, Smith, etc) 4. Any Big Ten Team not named Michigan St., I love the conference.
October 22, 200322 yr wow...u like Michigan bball but not football. See down here, you can't really like a whole conference. I cannot cheer for Georgia, being a Gator fan. One can't cheer for Tennessee, Alabama, Auburn, etc. unless it affects the Gators, or if they are playing a hated non-conference team. It's like those "fans" of all college Florida teams..."Oh I cheer for the Seminoles and Canes when they aren't playing Florida." WHAT THE HELL!?! If you like the Gators, there are certain teams you hate, and enjoy watching them lose almost as much as you enjoy watching your team win.

If you like the Gators, there are certain teams you hate, and enjoy watching them lose almost as much as you enjoy watching your team win. Their is a big difference between liking the conference and liking all the teams in your state. In Florida, you can only like 1 team IMO, because they are all big time and play each other. But with conferences, you can root for the success of the conference as a whole, except for the team playing your favorite team, at which point you obviously root for your team.
October 22, 200322 yr Author I cheer for the Pac 10 and Big 10 except for UCLA, USC, Stanford, MSU, and Ohio St.
October 22, 200322 yr my reasoning for cheering for the Big XII is because there is generally good football played by good teams... I tend to favor the Texas schools...but I am more a fan of the game itself in the college ranks... Hell when your school is SMU what the hell are you supposed to do? PS...I think the Ponies are a tad worse than the Hoosiers.
October 22, 200322 yr I'm rabid when it comes to the Gators. Georgia hates Auburn and Florida. Auburn hates Alabama and Georgia. Alabama hates Tennessee and Auburn. Tennessee hates Georgia and Florida. Florida hates Tennessee and Georgia. Mississippi State hates Ole Miss. Auburn hates LSU. LSU hates Auburn and Arkansas. With so much in conference hatred, one can't cheer for other conference teams so easily. We are proud of our conference as a whole, but hate the teams in it. I guess that's what makes the SEC the best football conference (not necessarily the best football played every year, but still the best football conference).

I tend to favor the Texas schools...but I am more a fan of the game itself in the college ranks... Hell when your school is SMU what the hell are you supposed to do? PS...I think the Ponies are a tad worse than the Hoosiers. I agree that I also like the college game as a whole. I like College Football a lot more than I do the NFL, and I like College Basketball more than I like pro hoops, although I actually like college and pro's in basketball just about the same.
October 22, 200322 yr Best College Football Conferences IMO: 1. Big 12 2. Big 10 3. SEC 4. Pac 10 5. Big East 6. MAC
October 22, 200322 yr Best College Football Conferences IMO: 1. Big 12 2. Big 10 3. SEC 4. Pac 10 5. Big East 6. MAC I'm loving the MAC at #6, good to see more people are figuring out that conference is better than Conference USA, which for some reason has a better rep. The fact that Northern Illinois has a very real chance to get in a BCS bowl this year is awesome and if they could find a way to win, that could do big things for the MAC. I don't know if I'd put them in front of the ACC though.
October 22, 200322 yr MLB: Marlins (local team and first team i really watched) NFL Dolphins (local, in love with them since i was a kid) NBA: Heat (read the 1st 2) NHL: Panthers (read the 1st 3, not a huge hockey fan though) College Fball: Miami college bball: Miami Arizona (watched Simon, Dickerson and Bibby and the rest of the guys including Olsen when i lived there. loved watching them play and i still do)
October 22, 200322 yr MLB: 1. Phillies 2. Red Sox 3. Pirates 4. O's 5. Mariners NBA: 1. Bulls 2. The Crippers(If they changed their name to THe Crippers, it would be god like) 3. The Celtics NFL: 1. Giants 2. Pats 3. Seahawks and Packers(Former home of Fritz S) Most Hated MLB: 1. Mutts 2. Braves 3. Cardinals 4. Yanks 5. The Twins NBA: 1. The Heat 2. Sixers 3. The Lakers(Mostly Just Shaq) 4. The Knicks 5. The Bucks NFL 1: Deadskins 2. Iggles 3. The Cokeboys 4. Cardinals(They are still NFC East in my book) 5. The Ravens
October 22, 200322 yr here you go giantsin06 MLB 1.Orioles....the city I lived in was their AAA affiliate 2.Marlins....I live here and have been a fan since the beginning NHL 1.Sabres.....the city I lived in was their minor league affiliate 2.Lightning...I worked for them in 2001-2002 NBA 1.Lakers.....when I got into basketball, the Lakers & Celtics were on top. I jumped on the Lakers bandwagon and have never fallen off....even the one year they didn't make the playoffs. 2. Heat...same as the fish NFL 1.Steelers....When I was very young, I decided to pick a favorite team. I chose the Bills because I liked there uniforms and they were only 60 miles from where I lived. My older brother who is a Steeler fan decided that the Bills weren't the team I wanted to root for and that I was to be a Steeler fan....or face a brotherly beating. So, I have been a Steeler fan ever since. I'm glad though because now we always have an excuse to call each other. 2. Bills....described above
October 23, 200322 yr favorites: MLB --------- 1)Marlins (home team love) 2) there's no such thing as a second favorite team, but in the AL, i guess I root for the Drays. NFL -------- 1)Dolphins (see Marlins) NHL ---------- 1) Panthers (see Marlins and Dolphins) NBA --------- 1) Magic 2) Heat Not much of an NBA kinda guy, I like college much better. College ball is played the way the game is supposed to be played, while the NBA is nothing but matchups. Tmac is my favorite player, so Magic get the love. Since the Heat are local, they get #2. NCAA -------- 1)GATORS!!!!!! distant #2........ 2)The Golden Knights of UCF 3)Oklahoma State 4)NIU! October 24, 200322 yr Heres my likes and hates... Like: NFL: 1. Packers Ahh the true gem of all of sports teams. History, Tradition, Success. No team like it. We have the best and most loyal and very knowledgable fans (not saying Packer Backers are the smartest fans, but they know whats wrong with the Pack and other teams). We have arguably the greatest ever in Brett Favre. We have the leagues yardage and TD leader in Ahman Green. 12 World Titles, UNMATCHED BY ANY TEAM IN THE NFL. 20 Hall of Famers going on 22 when Ron Wolf and Sterling Sharpe are inducted this year, and then 23, 24, and 25 when Brett Favre, Reggie White, and LeRoy Butler are inducted in the years to come. More wins then any team in NFL history. And the best Stadium in all of sports, to seat the best fans in all of sports, to watch the greatest team (win or lose) in all of sports)! GO PACK GO! 2. And whoever's against those godda*m Bears! NBA: 1. T'Wolves MLB: 1. Twins NCAA Football: 1. Wisconsin Hates: NFL: 1. I hate the BEARS, I hate their coaches, I hate their snobby fans, I hate their mommas. I hate anything to do with those scumbags south of Wisconsin. They resort to dirty, cheap football. Their fans for throwing objects on the field. Their coaches for whining. Their players for playing dirty. If the Packers go 2-14 the 2 wins better be against the "THE MIDGETS OF THE MIDWAY"! I hate them with an undying passion. I'd rather see the Vikings beat the Bears and the Vikings win the division then see the Bears win a single game. As far as I'm concerned no matter what their record is the bears are always going to be the doormat of the NFL. 2. The Purple Pussies to my west. The VIKINGS. Half of my family is Vikings fans. And they never stop whining about how they always lose in the NFC Championship Game or the Super Bowl. And I hate their damn stadium in that frickin Metrodome which I've been to many times, and its basically falling apart. What a piece of crap stadium for a piece of crap team and crappy fair weather fans. There is 2 types of Vikings fans. The true Vikings fans on 1 half never stop whining about never winning anything important. And the other half of Vikings fans normally likes whoevers better between the Packers and Vikings. But at least their not the Bears. 3. I hate the RAIDERS for their "bad boy" attitudes and thier fricking "Hells Angels" fans. Overrated. I love seeing the Raiders lose almost as much as seeing the Purple Pussies or Midgets of the Midway lose. 4. The Rams. For the simple fact that since 2000 no team has been more overrated then these guys who get by on a flashy offense and patchwork defense, they annoy the hell out of me because they are always picked to win the Super Bowl and yet they finish between 7-9 to 10-6 and miss the playoffs. 5. If you haven't noticed a trend yet, your about to. I hate teams that are overrated. The Dolphins are no exception. Along with the Rams and Raiders these guys are continually overrated time and time again. And their like the Vikings in the Super Bowl, just that the Dolphins choose to lose in the Wild Card round instead. Or get blown away in the Divisional Round 62-7 by the Jaguars. MLB: 1. The Evil Empire New York Yankees, to me these guys are as bad as it gets in baseball, let someone else win for a change dammit! Your fans suck, and you guys are a bunch of overpaid pr*cks. 2. The Chicago White Sox. One reason is they are from the same town as those rotten Bears, the other is they are also overrated and are also the Twins biggest rivalry and as my Twins proved this year its a one sided rivalry in the Twins favor! NBA: 1. The Utah Jazz, Malone and Stockton are great, but they whined and they bugged me. And I just hated them for no reason at all, I guess like the Marlins they just bug the crap out of me. NCAA Football: 1. Miami. Just for the way they were in the early 1990's. Kinda like the Dallas Cowboys of College Football, except I actually like the Cowboys. Its a respectful hate, because the Canes are so damn good, I just want to see someone else knock them off. But so you all know I wanted to see them beat Ohio State last year because I'm a Badger fan and I don't want anyone but the Badgers having success.
