October 24, 200322 yr Heres my likes and hates... Like: MLB: 1. Twins Hates: NFL: 2. The Purple Pussies to my west. The VIKINGS. Half of my family is Vikings fans. And they never stop whining about how they always lose in the NFC Championship Game or the Super Bowl. And I hate their damn stadium in that frickin Metrodome which I've been to many times, and its basically falling apart. What a piece of crap stadium for a piece of crap team and crappy fair weather fans. There is 2 types of Vikings fans. The true Vikings fans on 1 half never stop whining about never winning anything important. And the other half of Vikings fans normally likes whoevers better between the Packers and Vikings. But at least their not the Bears. Ah, so you hate the Metrodome because it is a crappy stadium for crappy fans, yet you like the Twins, who share the same stadium? Ha, the irony is fantastic.

Penn State - I'll root for them over Maryland in football b/c I respect Paterno, and I spent New Years watching bowl games with my dad and I loved the Kerry Collins-KiJana Carter-OJ McDuffie days. Club Soccer: 1. DC United (USA, MLS) - hometown team 2. Maccabi Haifa (Israel, IPL) 3. Wrexham (Wales, English Pyramid 2nd division) - for the celts. 4. Celtic (Scotland, SPL) - ditto 5. Lazio (Italy, Serie A) DISLIKE MLB: Yankees (obvious reasons, Mike Mussina); Braves; Cubs and Red Sox fans; and any team that qualifies as the 5th or 6th best team in the league by virtue of winning a weak Central or Western division. NHL: Philadelphia Flyers - I'd hate to say anythign bad about the state of Pennsylvania but they are the Cap's rivals and the Lindros thing isn't too comforting NBA: Today's Lakers. Gimme the days of Magic Johnson, not this Yankees charade. NFL: Washington Redskins. Grew up with this team, and still cheer them. I guess they are my second favorite team. I do make more of an effort to watch and root for the 'Skins during their games than I do with the Dolphins (with the 'Fins it's just a certainty that they'll win all their early season games and lose all their late season games so why even watch?) But I did root for the Dolphins Sunday and always take pleasure in watching my family members, neighbors and friends stress themselves out over this constantly disappointingly overrated club. NCAA sports: Florida State, lose some ACC football games! And Duke basketball too! And, of course, Pittsburgh football. And all things Virginia. November 25, 200322 yr And if you think the Domes bad for football. Its 30 times worse for baseball. I hate the Metrodome. My Twins need a new stadium. I know it sounds hipocritical, that I hate the Vikings and the dome, yet I like the Twins. Thats the only thing I like about the Metrodome is that the Twins play there. Other then that I hate the place. How is hating an overrated team hipocritical? It just bugs me when a team like St. Louis or the Bills or earlier in the year the Raiders (not anymore obviously) are talked up to be Super Bowl contenders and turn out to be pretenders except last year when the Raiders made the Super Bowl (which I wasn't surprised by though). So really I see nothing hipocritical in my post. I don't like the Dome, so what? I don't like the Vikings, so what I'm a Packers fan I have a reason. I like the Twins and they play in a dome, I don't care if the Twins played on the baseball field outside of my high school, I'll still like them. I don't like teams that are in my opinion overrated in the NFL. So what they get on my nerves?

That's a very hipocritical thing of YOU to say. Thats a matter of opinion. And as of late the Packers are showing they aren't overrated... Beating Seattle. Beating the Vikes in the dreaded Dome. Beating the Defending Champs in a place the Pack has never won in. Beating the 49ers (one of the best offenses in the business) with our defense. We have the best ground game in the NFL right now averaging nearly 200 YARDS PER GAME. We are 3-1 since the Bye and had a good shot at beating teams like Kansas City and Philadelphia if our defense had played then like it is now. Really the Packers have played like a 6-5 team. A team that shot itself in the foot in games against KC and Philly where they coulda won, but then they go and beat Minny and TB. Weird season, but now overrated in my mind.

They did. :thumbup They're overrated, just about everything I read picked them to win the NFC North and talked about Favre like he's still an MVP quality quarterback. THAT'S overrated in my book. They've been listed as championship quality team for a while now and they haven't delivered, they haven't even been to the NFC Championship game in this century. They're overrated.
