It is great to know that Hillary wants to continue giving Pakistan 10 billion dollars in aid because she has received tens of thousands of dollars in support from Pakistani interests: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/zephyr-teach...ax_b_71379.html

Barack Kablammo, I mean, Obama is not going to get us out of Iraq or the "War of Terror" as Borat put it.

Remember, Kablammo also said he would bomb Pakistan (http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/printed...1,4555304.story) and Iran (http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/printed...1,4555304.story). I am sure that will make us a lot of friends. Some anti-war candidate he is.

Again, anyone who knows history would understand that interventionism creates more problems than it solves. Did the United States shake in it boots concerning Islamic terror before we started putting troops in the middle east? Of course not. The goofy "Weathermen" were our worst problem. Time to wake up America, these wars only feed the military-industrial complex. They do not make us safer.

Tell that to Western Europe.

Your right though we should have let Bin Laden continue living in the safe haven that was Afghanistan and let Al-Qaeda get stronger.

This is what I cant stand about Paul supporters, they oppose all wars. Wars are a necessary evil that need to be fought from time to time. Now I can see why you oppose the Iraq War because it was a war that was fought under false pretenses and has made our the world less safe. I can also see how you oppose the U.S. sending covert operations like they did in the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's to try to knock down governments not favorable to the U.S. but to say look through history and say that interventionism has caused more problems is a farce. In some instances yes but in a lot of instances its made us safer.

Yeah, we need to wake up. Ron Paul supporters are the ones who's idea of campaigning is telling people they're stupid. Yeah WE need to wake up.

God, less than 60 days till Ron Paul polls 4% in Iowa and the dreams of the conservative "elite" are dashed

Well, I know already that Hillary takes money from everyone.

I would like to see Obama go after the terrorists in the Pakistan border region.

Liberals of course were never anti-war. They just hate Bush. Thanks guys for the Do-Nothing election of '06.

I was anti-war. Part of the current problem is that the majority in the Senate is an illusion, as Lieberman makes it 51-49, but he has voted with the Republicans in all war debates. In addition, it takes a 2/3 majority to stop debate on a bill and move it forward. It also requires the same vote to override the inevitable Presidential veto.

I wanted to punch a Ron Paul supporter the other day at FIU's debate.

I was walking through the GC on Tuesday at FIU and I wanted to punch the Ron Paul supporter screaming at everyone walking by her.

I feel ya man, I know someone that is a big Ron Paul supporter and every time he starts talking about the guy I want to punch him in the face

Yeah, during the middle of the debate, this guy starts shouting "WHAT ABOUT RON PAUL" and stuff, and one of the guys up there said "And there's no way a fringe candidate like Paul can win" and the guy shouts "4.2 million in one day!". I had to stop myself from getting up and saying "Nobody but rich 20 year olds who have never worked a day in their life gives a f***."

Why do people need to reconsider voting for Hillary or Obama? Because YOU think Paul is the best candidate?

What a retarded thread.

I know exactly who you were talking about.....guy was a douche and a half

He handed me a flyer about why Ron Paul is more liberal than Hilary, or something. I didn't read it, I just looked at him and crumpled it up.

Rich 20 year olds? Sounds like Obama supporters to me.

I like Ron Paul, although I do agree that his campus grassroots efforts are annoying. Too bad so many great ideas are getting trumped in the process.

Like abolishing the government and isolating ourselves from the rest of the world.

I would guess so.

Those votes should be going towards Kucinich, Gravel, or at least Edwards, though he flip-flopped.

how about the basic freedom of the united states is all citizens within good standing of the government and registered are given the right to choose whom they feel best fits their ideals.

I like Paul and I think he would be an interesting canidate, that said some of his ideas are upon the extreme fringe of society as a whole. There is an appealing nature to some of his arguements and his beliefs but at the same time there are weaknesses as well.

To blindly say you must not vote for this person or that person it anti to everything is the strength of our country and actually I think is against what Paul himself stands for.

But anyways imo this thread is :banghead :banghead

Actually, this was a fair post. Regardless of anyone's personal political views, they should have the right to disseminate information regarding politics in the Bull Pen forum. Obviously, someone that doesn't particularly care for Hillary or Obama should be expected to post any negative information they find on them in an attempt to expose weaknesses in that candidate. The inverse is also true.

Personally, I applaud Rudy for doing something a lot of people fail to do in these types of threads - he posted the facts that formed/supported his opinion and backed them up with links.

No, the basis was because HE doesn't support something no one else should and they shouldn't vote for someone who HE doesn't think is the best choice for a candidate.

Its a dumb way of persuading people with a thread title as one sided as the one he has posted.

Of course people should vote for who they want. They ideally would not want scummers...
