February 8, 200818 yr Im moving to Orlando in a few months. I there still a black out on Marlins broadcasts? Last time i was up there trying to go on MLB TV a few years it was blacked out. Im going to be uncomfortable if I can't watch Marlins games for the first time in my life.
February 8, 200818 yr I live in kissimme and as of right now we do not get Marlins games and they are blacked out on mlb tv. I do work for the cable company here, Which is brighthouse networks and from what I understand our MLB pack does get all the games.
February 8, 200818 yr If you move to Polk County 25-30 minutes from Orlando you can still get the Marlins, EXCEPT games on Sunshine.
February 8, 200818 yr i live in orlando and i think the best youre gonna get is if you get Comcast. you can get all the games on FSN, but none of the sun sports games. if theres ever a game you really want to watch and it won't be on fsn, there's a nice bar called Friendly Confines that gets pretty much every game for the marlins. ale house sucks.

We get crap here in reference to the Marlins...helll we don't even get the radio broadcast anymore
February 9, 200818 yr As long as you have Dish Network or DirecTV, you will get all 150 Marlins games on FSN Florida & Sun Sports anywhere in the 67 counties of Florida. As for Central Florida, Bright House Networks and FSN Florida are at war. The Magic are missing 35 games, the Marlins are not shown at all, and the Rays are only shown on ION which cuts down their exposure. Comcast in Orlando is a bit better offering FSN Florida, but they do not carry the extra 55 games which mostly air on Sun Sports. MLB.tv will not work. MLB Extra Innings will not work. The only thing that will work is if Bright House bites the bullet and pays for FSN Florida or if you get a dish.
February 10, 200818 yr Author So the only way to get the 150 games broadcasted on FSN and Sunshine is Direct TV?
February 10, 200818 yr So the only way to get the 150 games broadcasted on FSN and Sunshine is Direct TV? or Dish Network Unless Bright House Networks pays FSN for the channel and the games. However, that war has been raging for a decade and the Magic just made nice with EMBARQ to spite Bright House since EMBARQ sells Dish service.
