If Maybin & Miller are duds, then the Marlins have very little to trade for come 4 or 5 years from now when they are eligible for arbitration. They will be paid lots of money, but are untradeable because they stink. We'll be stuck with lousy players, and no hope of trading for young studs like we have been doing. With the cycle broken, of getting winners in the trades we are stuck.....and Beinfest had better draft well or we will be bad for a very long time, unless Loria opens up the wallet, and that is not very likely to happen.

No, you're still not making any sense...they won't get lots of money in arbitration if they're duds, Maybin hasn't even had an at bat with the team, and Miller should just be sent down to the Minors to continue developing. I don't exactly recall AJ, Penny, Beckett, etc. being lights out immediately after we traded for them either, and they turned out fine.
