While I agree, it was so close with a great throw, a great play at the plate, and not that great of a slide by Matty, I can't put the blame on Bo.

Yes, but it would be nice to see him keep his pitch count down to go deeper into the game. All these things add up.

He had only thrown 8 pitches more than Arroyo before the inning started, who you seem to think is pitching well even though he has given up more hits and walks than Ricky while getting less Ks.

 

I didn't say he was pitching badly. In fact he's been pitching very well. I just want to see 6+

All that, plus at some point you just have to tip your cap at the other team for making a good play.

Patterson made an incredibly bone-headed mistake, but redeemed himself with a really, really nice defensive play, even though it did look like the ump MAY have missed the call.
