For one thing, every team, with maybe the exception of Memphis, is over the salary cap. So even if a team wanted, for some reason, to give him $10 million for this season, they can't. Once Marbury is bought out and waived, he'll sign with someone, but it won't be for anywhere close to $10 million. It'll be a 1 year deal and it will likely be no more then the veteran's minimum. Why? Because he's damaged goods right now. He's been hurt and people think he's a cancer. At the veteran's minimum, teams will take a flyer on a guy with his talent...if he wants more, teams will pass.

He also shot .463 from the field and averaged over 5 assists per game.
