If JJ is due for a bad performance, because he's coming back from TJ surgery and there is almost always a bad outing or two when someone comes back from that type of injury...

The reason is:

1. The lineup is struggling; so he's trying something new.

2. It uses up more relievers later on (from the Cubs) b/c most managers believe in the righty-righty, lefty-lefty theory.

 

Then again, I hate it.
