He at a young age has better control and more velocity on his pitches than Miller. Once Miller can go through the first 4 innings scoreless then i will consider it, but thus far he has not shown me that he is the future ace, in all seriousness here the marlins future ace is Chris Volstad, he is an effective pitcher that keep almost all of his pitches down and most importantly KEEPS HIS PITCH COUNT DOWN so he can go deep into games.
July 26, 200817 yr Given the fact five years is almost an eternity in baseball for pitchers, I think if he's still here and healthy Volstad will be the ace. I think the fish could have a 2-3 pitchers that would be considered aces at that time, but one never knows how long someone will stay healthy and effective.
