August 2, 200817 yr What a bum! The guy NEVER gets ANY hits past the fifth inning, when the game is on the line. And he always manages to make these physical and mental mistakes that make you wonder whether there's any brain in his head. Mike Jacobs may be the least fundamental player the Marlins have ever had. I can't understand what Beinfest sees in this guy. It seems like the opposite of what Admin looks for in a player.

August 2, 200817 yr jacobs has been given a long enough time to prove himselft. he needs to be traded to get help behind the plate and we need to see what mcpherson can do before he becomes a free agent. jacobs for ramon hernandez and jim johnson i think would be a steal for the marlins at this point. then move cantu to 1st where he is better defensively and call up mcpherson to play 3rd.

That said, I was the first person to want Jake off this team before the season even started, and I want him even less now.

Combine that with the fact that he looks like grandma at 1B, and he's definitely replaceable.

August 2, 200817 yr seriously, hendricson pitches bad even when he doesnt give up runs. he s jusat tortue to watch. we need to give some sort of waiver trade for jacobs for a catcher and i dont know how much more gaby sanchez and logan morrison get promoted to the majors and aa respectively. so mcpherson to mlb for hendrickson. jacobs traded and sanchez called up. what more do they have to do?
