What would you like Sony to put it in next year's MLB '09 The Show?

custom ballparks, custom teams.... ability to relocate, build a new ballpark, change names, change uniforms. I like how you can add seats and concessions and upgrade, but you can't really see any of it. I wish you could actually see the changes.

but i still think the show could put mlb 2k series outta buisness if it was sold for the 360

I want 2k9 to be for the 360, and I agree we should be able to scout prospects, be able to move the team over the course of a season, I would also love them to add a postgame conference and u as the manager speak to the press (like how they did it in all the wrestling games), obviously there should be a charge the mound option, but mostly i would like to see an interview process, a BBTN crew talkin about what teams are in the race currently in the game, and different celebrations after winning the WS, I hate all games having only 1 type of celebration, it gets annoying

I dont have any specific wishes, just for them to make it as realistic as possible.

I like the above wish lists. I just hope that eventually they use all the space available and add a lot of these features. I love going online and getting the updated rosters.

They can't. 2K Sports has exclusive 3rd party rights to MLB until 2012. The first EA MLB game would have to be in 2013 at earliest.

 

EA has themselves to blame for that one.

 

Plus, EA Sports doesn't release many games on the PC anymore.

I hate the 2k franchise, I think they do a horrible job with their games. They have gotten better, but nothing to make you say wow.

The new pitching system this year made me say wow. In my opinion, it is the best pitching system in any baseball game, despite the high difficulty curve.

revolutionary with the game play they are second to none on most sports games. The only problem is the mechanics are too off sometimes for me and also the graphics just aren't as up to par.

for graphics and overall gamplay the show steals it but for the animations like stances clothing styles etc 2k8 takes it too bad the gameplay sucks balls but i still love it

The Show is an amazing series, I can't wait for 09.

I used to be a 2K fan before they started f***in it all up.

 

'08:The Show was the first one from the series I have played/bought and its great.

 

Besides all the extra/bonus fun little things to add.. one thing that DEFINITELY should be added is..

im pretty sure everybody knows that in real life baseball players dont pass right THROUGH first basemen like ghosts as they're trying to make it to first....or stealing second, etc.

playing MLB The Show 08 right now, awesome game.

 

I really wish they could update player profile when go to update rosters.

 

Example, they add John Baker or Chris Voldstad, update the images a little, add player photo and announce the name of the player. That is one thing that I would really like. Everything else was really good.

 

though one thing i havent noticed in this game is supposedly for the PS3 during blowouts you could see people leaving the stands, i have yet to see that. and i have only seen ppl posting up "K" signs once during the period i have had the game.

If the Show was for the 360 they would blow out 2k so bad and get more sales
